nothing generally against moby - but it feels as his music is played constantly every 3 hours or so.....

i know, there are other artists which get that much of playing as well....but with all respect, most of them are musically better and left a mark in musical history.

Maybe - as often in life - less is/would be more...

Always very much enjoyed Moby during this era — that music is missed!  Still like him, but that seemed to be his creative peak or maybe something similar.

Sometimes just hearing a song like this restores my faith in music.

For me, music appreciation is mostly a search, no, a quest, for the aesthetic highs and bliss that come from a song like this one.  I slog through many many endless hours of "ho-hum" and "meh" just so every once in a while I will experience something truly moving.

i lived in sweden and my father is a swedish resident. never heard of volvos being a communist anything {#Lol}. they are darn great cars though. especially if you are going to depend on it in snow...and for years and years....

right. though my greater point was the overly strong, sometimes over-the-top negatives about songs that are, basically - a three, four or a five of quality. people sometimes limit themselves with an approach that heavily leans primarily toward 9's and 10's and 2's and 1's. some of the just "ok" songs may be new, still - possibly - overcoming the prejudice of unfamiliarity. or they may be classic/vintage cuts - regardless of genre - that are deeply and passionately enjoyed by a smaller group of people than the "mainstream" of the paradise audience. most of the new music judged to be bland and/or bad is removed in due course by bill. it is good to have the opportunity to hear new sounds - regardless of era. the older material that scores uniformly in the bland/acceptable area are probably also removed, along with the songs judged to be out and out "bad/revolting" ;) but there should always be a place for songs that are considered great by a portion of the audience. i myself enjoy reconsidering my opinion at those times, listening with fresh ears. edited by mperry at 12:22 pm on 5/22/2003

cute, but a bit simple. there is more going on with Moby's music than Yanni's. It's true, this isn't Leonard Cohen, but not everything should be. Moby knows how to compellingly put together a groove that sounds nice now and then in Paradise.

Seen Moby live in 1999 I think it was. Only him on stage running between the instruments trying to make as much possible live, even sequencing most stuff live. Never seen so much energy on stage, he truly rocked the entire crowd. Simplicity yet complex seems to be his line...

this song has been creeping up on me for some reason. i find it stuck in my head for hours afterward. i guess its the dirge like electronica beat. but its infectious and i am starting to like it.

Moby is one of those artists that seems to grow on me. the more i hear, the more i like. still have yet to buy a CD of his, maybe i will after i listen to some more of his stuff. play some more form the earlier albums, please

Although I\'m usually not too fond of the average modern electronica, this song appeals somehow. It weaves a haunting sonic picture, and when I stop to listen to the lyrics, they work for me.

I actually like this tune. Everyone should know that Moby was physically attacked by a couple of losers in Boston the other day, while he was signing autographs for people. He got beat up but help was nearby, so he\'s basically OK. But everyone should send good thoughts his way.
