Oh look.  Now it's cutting and pasting comments into its own cut and paste journal entries.  Clever, clever.

Any explanation for that?

I would ask that you might consider not posting links to pieces of interest as Journal entries. There are no hard-and-fast rules, and there have been political viewpoints posted as Journal entries (I have done that), but usually they have been personal viewpoints, not links.

The forum is a better venue for the posting of links for purposes of generating discussions. The Journals are a vehicle for posting personal thoughts.  I think most would prefer to reserve the Journals for original, personal thoughts or works. I know I would.

Thanks for your consideration.

Don't you know it is our differences that make us strong; every invention we enjoy was brought to us by someone taking a path not taken before, or challenging the dominant paradigm.  Conservatism is stagnation. . . it's how muscles atrophy and die. Liberalism works those muscles and keeps them strong.

Personally, I would like to avoid topics like this altogether, but the whole is greater than myself. We even have a right to whine about each other. This is FREEDOM!

Good luck with that.

He's contaminated the regular forum and the song comments, so why not go for the trifecta with the journals?  Its what any attention-seeking troll not getting enough attention would do.

That was my point. I was just trying to phrase it in a way that wouldn't hit the asshole escalation switch and make him want to be even more rude and disrespectful to the community, if that is possible.

I was coming up with a polite way to request the same thing. Please don't contaminate the journals. They do a lot of people a lot of good. There are plenty of threads in the forum to express your opinions in.

Manbirds petition for veterans and Swell Sailors wonderful description of his beloved pups life are now pushed off the front page as a result.
