Just spent multiple hours this weekend listening to Beyond. It’s an innovative approach to a jazz channel and a solid addition to the RP lineup. That said, I think it would greatly benefit from blending in some more classic jazz - Miles, Sonny Rollins, Coltrane, Mingus, Charlie Parker, Duke, etc. Much of that was and remains “beyond,” it’s safe to say. And if we’re talking “beyond,” are we not including Weather Report and their progressive contemporaries?
