I used to walk
On the darker side
Rain in my eyes
Rain in my eyes

Though I was stone
On the inside
I felt alone
I felt so alone

I'm in a peaceful place
I've found something no one can take away
I'm in a peaceful place now
I'm in a peaceful place now

I feel at home
Anywhere that I go
Spirit in my soul
Spirit in my soul

Woman back home
Haven't seen for a while
She makes me laugh
Still makes me smile

I'm in a peaceful place
I've found something no one can take away
I'm in a peaceful place now
I'm in a peaceful place now

I'm in a peaceful place
I've found something no one can take away
I'm in a peaceful place now
I'm in a peaceful place now

I'm in a peaceful place
I've found something no one can take away
I'm in a peaceful place now
I'm in a peaceful place
I'm in a peaceful place

Being played WAY too much in the line up... ok Bill, I get it, he's nice, gives a good feel, but seriously, I must have heard you play him and this song (in particular) 15 times in the last 3 weeks. There's so much better material out there to have rotating. Not sure why this one is sticking so frequently.
What a nice song :)

The incessant pounding of percussion leaves me in a place anything but peaceful.

To me, the percussion represents the hustle and bustle of life, marching on inevitably to the distance, and Leon has found peace within the chaos. Might just be my interpretation though.

Are you serious??

You want MORE than the intense satisfaction of being first amongst this elite eclectic crowd?? Dammit jp, don't be greedy
Keep at it, Leon.
I thought for sure I was going to continue to be in a peaceful place for a while but no more.

I thought this was The Christians at first - it certainly sounds like Garry to me. More please!
Laurent Souchon, sors de ce corps!
I like this too

It is, perhaps, a bit thumpy.

Peace isn't the absence of noise (or rhythm).  It's not the absence of waves, it's how gracefully one rides them.  Despite the dominant beat, Leon's silky voice drifts over the drums like an albatross over choppy water.  Beautifully done, Leon.
