So something wicked lies in wait for us
In this town somewhere
If nothing happens in three days I call you up
To meet you there
Bring the drums that you used to
So nice and gently maltreat
I'll need a beat now to stay on my feet
You people who dance on the top of our cars
Down the traffic jammed freeway to Berlin
Please promise to make a crack in every roof
To let the air and the sun shine in
Break our windows and let the sun shine in
Break our windows and let the sun shine in
So something wicked lies in wait for us
In this town somewhere
If nothing happens in three days I call you up
To meet you there
Bring the drums that you used to

I'll need a beat now to stay on my feet

I like it.
My sentiments exactly:
“Always amazed at the armchair critics on here. I have plenty opinions, but clearly I lack the ego to think I must share them as facts. Impressed.”
Very nice. Don’t overthink you.

To the band - look at the mix on this, the banjo or whatever it is disappears behind the vocals. It makes me want to try & work out what it's doing as I know it's there but comes and goes like peekaboo. It's not a listenable track as it stands

My Pigeon approves
Easy 8 and thanks for exposing us to this album

My first thought was that this sounds nothing like Take My Breath Away, from the Top Gun soundtrack....
