Empty your pockets
You'll need more space
Bury the trinkets
They'll go to waste
My eyes swell to the size of the sun
Follow the flames
Watching me run to the sun
Skyscrapers save us as when we scrape the skies
Running high
Oh yes stand tall
Watch us when we scrape the skies
Don't let me fall now
Hear the thunder
Rattle my bones
I feel haunted
I feel at home
I can't compare
The feel in the air
The demons are blown
Out of my head
Skyscrapers save us as when we scrape the skies
Running high
Oh yes stand tall
Watch us when we scrape the skies
Don't let me fall now
Don't let me fall now
I can't compare
The feel in the air
The demons are blown
Out of my head
You'll need more space

This would go well in Twin Peaks!
Sorry, that 1958-ish Mitch Miller-like repeating chorus just gives me the willies. Part of R&R's job was to bury that kind of treacly, easylistening, middle-of-the-road, "Dad music" sound. Guess it didn't do a very good job.
I absolutely adore the dreamy, classic Disneyness (background melody) of this song.
Please Mr. Bill, can we have some more!!?
love it!
If this is what we get when you don't pay attention to the Wikipedia page; please don't play anything by the Day-glow Abortions.

No clue about why there is an elephant wiki where there is supposed to be a band description.
No matter. Decent tune for an eclectic mix.

Sounds like Warpaint (but not as good) - which I don't understand not being on RP...Bill?

yeah elephants sing and song better than iguana ?!#
I like this, spooky indeed. Something The Silence of the Lambs' Buffalo Bill might listen to in his basement while happily sewing.
Yet another 'elephant' band name, think this makes four. And for all your cleverness/depth/irony/whatever, your band get linked to a Wiki page of the actual animal!

The voices match up quite well too. Never heard of the Murmaids but good catch on your part. All part of the 50s girl-band mix.
The melody reminds me of the Murmaids "Popsicles and Icicles". Not that that's a bad thing.

Sounds a bit like a female Department Of Eagles.

John Lennon vibe.
Maybe my age is showing but they remind me of The Honeys.
Great song, with some great influences. I love it.
this is great cover art

I monster. I had the same thought and looked to see if it was them. Sounds great.
Reminds me of a song by the group with the fly head on the cover. Something containing "monsters" I think.

These guys sound a lot like the band "Cults" who are currently touring with The Pixies. The Cults are pretty good, anyone try to introduce them to Bill yet?

This is lovely, wrapped in a classic I-VI-IV-V.
made me look.... not sure if it was because it was new or because it made me think I was a young child in the late 50's . waaa- ahaaa

I suspect many of us are only too glad to experience its resurrection..
