GREAT!! I never heard of her before. That is why we come here! Her voice reminds me of Sade.  Thanx RP!
I'm in a motorcycle ;)

I lived in Madagascar for two years. Couldn't get myself to like the music then, and still don't care much for it. But, I remain obsessed with the lemurs. Most awesome critters ever!

I'm trying so hard to open up to more world music, and I'm not doing well with it.  I've gotten into some weird stuff that does not conform to Bach's structures and Western scales, but so much of it is either lifeless or keening to me.  It doesn't ring true to my ear.  Like Oakland, there is no there there.  I'm not sure what else to do except keep listening, but I know that no amount of listening will attune my ear to things like Dengue Fever.  In that respect, I feel enslaved to my culture, which probably just proved up the theories of several notable philosophers and psychologists.  Still, as a romantic, I can never be satisfied with that.  Never to say, stay, thou art so fair.

Right! The drums in this song sounds like chacarera rythm (folk from northwestern Argentina). BTW, I'd love to hear more Latin American music at RP!

I'm discovering that lately, I love songs with lyrics I don't understand. If the rhythm and tune and vocals move me, I don't need to know what the words mean. Doesn't mean I don't care about the words - it just means the whole song can inspire me, no matter the language.

that is true. And that's exactly why French are so fond of foreign music. We must admit our home music isn't so good, but any way when we translate "I wanna hold your hand " or " baby you can drive my car" it sounds so strange and poor and laughable we don't want to know what it's all about !!  j'adore cette web radio, je la fais connaitre autour de moi, quel bonheur !  merci bill.

Just looking the lyrics.

Second song I have heard from this artist. I like it so far...anything Latin is usually good in my books.
Okay I stand corrected....anything African is good too.

Wow, I think this is the first time I've been the first commenter! It still says this song has "never" been played. I really liked the vocals and the groove of this one. That is all.
