How's it goin dude?
Hey man, what's up?
Tell Todd he can turn the radio back on.

When you grab a hold of me
You tell me that I'll never be set free
But I'm a parasite
Creep and crawl, I step into the night

Two pints of booze
Tell me, are you a badfish too?
(Are you a badfish too?)
Ain't got no money to spend
I hope the night would never end

Lord knows I'm weak
Won't somebody get me off of this reef?

Baby you're a big blue whale
Grab the reef when all duck divin' fails
I swim, but I wish I'd never learned
The water's too polluted with germs

I dive deep when it's ten feet overhead
Grab the reef underneath my bed
(underneath my bed)

Ain't got no quarrels with God
Ain't got no time to grow old
Lord knows I'm weak
Won't somebody get me off of this reef?

I gotta go dude

Ain't got no quarrels with God
Ain't got no time to get old
Lord knows I'm weak
Won't somebody get me off of this reef?

Well... a nice 16 year break since this has been played. I'm no longer tired of it and it sounds great right about now

KROQ and the like have squeezed this one to death, although it'll still be really nice to hear every now and then (if I don't hear it for at least 5 years). ginger wrote:

Not quite. They released this album and 'Robbin' the Hood' (and maybe some other odds/ends) before their major label debut and had a solid fan base in the southland and in the ska/punk/reggae/surf scene.
I'm not too fond of Sublime. They have a certain appeal, but they're the kind of thing that I'd expect to hear on the local conventional "alternative" radio stations.
I don't know, I just don't get Sublime. Always just sounds like white boys trying to sing reggae or ska. And as I understand it the lead singer was DEAD before they even released their first album. Not that I have anything against dead singers, but it's just kind of weird. Plus sometimes I just find this band rude, crude and childish
thats odd... i uploaded this and it still shows reviewing on my list!?!?!?
