I get high on a buzz
Then a rush when I'm plugged in you
I connect
When I'm flush
You get love when told what to do
Wonderful electric
Wonderful electric
Wonderful electric
Cover me in you
I'm in love, I'm in love
I'm in love with a strict machine
I'm in love, I'm in love
I'm in love with a strict machine
When you send me a pulse
Feel a wave of new love
Through me
I'm dressed in white noise
You know just what I want
So please
Wonderful electric

Interesting follow-up to Black Dahlia by Porcupine Tree.
Interesting to say the least. Perhaps one of the most jarring transitions on RP I have heard in quite some time.

Okay, I declare that I will substitute this song in all future occasions that call for Rock and Roll (Part Two)
This is not a bad song at all.
I just had such a shock of delight listening to their first album "Felt Mountain".
I admire them for having the guts to totally depart from that style for their subsequent music, and I'm sure there was no way to do a Felt Mountain 2.. I'm just not into that vintage modern synth thing.
(Ive seen a lot of whining in comments around RP, but here? Like there was someone forcing the poor fellows lto listen to that awful stuff against their will. Yes there is PSD, there is turning off RP... We all want RP to be our perfect station. It's so pretty darn close, we can really be glad, I believe...)

Love it! ...and of course you all DO know what she is singing about....right?!
and she doesn't even need to sing
Well, Alanis Morrisette's noise comes to mind.

Yuk. Retro '70s '80s. I expect to get a clone of Blondie or Giorgio Moroder right through my speakers any minute now.
Wow. So THIS is Goldfrapp. Been seeing them featured in RS articles and watching their touring schedule. I never knew! Love you RP.
'Pure Pop for Now People!'
Did Matt Bellemy marry Goldfrapp?
From Porcupine Tree to this! Probably not the most ambitious programming.

My machine has been known to unre-strict itself, darling.
There is just extreme 'hotness' in that voice...yummy!!!
As the Fonz would say, "Exactamundo."

An interesting and entertaining change of pace, I think.
I cannot say that this song would ever appeal to me (unless I had heard it here in a mix with other pieces), and even then it seems likely that it is best experienced while experiencing psychopharmacologically activated perception. It does not seem designed for listening to while working at a computer.
WHY? (insert ears bleeding emoticon)
My subwoofer rattles the whole house on this song. Showoff.
Killer tune...worst album cover...

This tune appears to have a very gender-specific audience. /captain obvious
