Wow, what a great song. The style and story makes it an excellent historical piece, like studying an old painting from a particular era. I'm 19, and I wish songs were still made like this.
As a music fan, I've found appreciation in songs ranging from classical to metal. I think the people on here complaining about this song don't appreciate its context, or the wonderful vocal talent of the Andrew Sisters, who were actually considered quite racy in their era. They helped to push the limits of music and the entertainment world in general, contributing to an uninhibited society that expresses freely.
Arghhhh ... make it stop
\"Both mother and daughter
working for the Yankee dollar\"?
Ewwwww.....
Wow -- either I'm getting old or.....(nah!) My Grandma used to listen to this and I sure didn't appreciate it then but I sure do now! A steady diet might be a bit much, but please insert some of this 40's music once in a while -- it's wonderful!

Aw, c'mon--you can barf with your headphones on!
Keep "spinnin'" 'em, Bill!
Keeping the Eclectic in your description appropriate.
I think I\'ll put the mute \"on\" for the next minute or so, though.
I liked it. Good harmonies. Great style. Funny lyrics. My Gran liked these gals and I scoffed; I see the light now though.

"Drinking Rum and Coca-Cola", no less! The Andrew Sisters were more racy than many thought. ;)
Wow, didn\'t see this one coming. My mom has some Andrews Sisters on vinyl that I used to groove to. Thanks for this one.
The Andrews Sisters singing about about prostitution. How hip is that? (pimp)

Nowadays that would be Spiced Rum & Diet Coca Cola.
Love the close harmonies of the Andrew Sisters.

Best (worst) we can do is a "1" I've pitched in to help you out!Hmmm, rum and coca cola, if only I weren't at work........
Nice and nostalgic.
Bill ... you ARE out performing yourself!!
If radio stations could only pick and play like you do... it would bring the medium back to life!
Are there negative numbers around here somewhere?
Ahhh, yes! This is precisely why I love Radio Paradise. Bill, you\'re the man!
