Oh, do you want more Zamfir?
You're listening to Pure Moods.

I believe it's Mark Isham on the synth. He's the musician that has tons of musical movie scores to his credit.

And Michael Manring on fretless bass!
At least it doesn't have any panpipes

I thought that too.🐨
Here is where I am transported to when I hear this song by the master of simplicity, William Ackerman. May '93, Holkum Bay, Alaska. The sun is rising, 4.am. My soon-to-be bride weighs the hook and I pull gently on the oars. It's too early for breeze and we slowly pull our way through the icebergs. Eagles soar, a whale breaths, and Willam Ackerman lays down the tranquil mood, as no other artist could ever do. 28 years later, this song takes me there, and when I'm there, I hear this song.

I never get tired of all the William Ackerman albums, they were the sound track to my many road trips between CA and Sedona, where I lived for 28 years. I agree, the town is too touristy, but the surrounding area is beautiful. I actually saw William Ackerman performing there once.

It's better than Sedona! I mean the town it's self sucks, but the surrounding landscape, yes this is the Oak Creek, Red Rock area. Sublime.

i enjoy this as programmed by RP. A nice "palate cleanser" after some harder rocking stuff. It's is not Miles Davis, but it's not bad in this set. To me, anyway.
I....feel.....like....I\'m.......in......that......waterfountain.....and .....newage....crystal.....shop.....in......New..Hope.........
Is that Zamfir on the Pan Flute? :p
Pretty, but now I\'m sleepy...
more Windham Hill stuff!
Yes, this is a really relaxing song. Takes me back to the mid-80s when I still played a lot of New Age and Jazz (sax and EWI). And Chuck Greenburg (rest in peace) played one hell of a lyricon on these tracks. Hauntingly melodic! Good stuff...nice to hear on RP. This sounds like the stuff that they did at Wolf Trapp in Virginia. Anton - RU chillin\'?
Quick, while this is playing. Change the webcam to Yellowstone! RPTV? ;)
I am getting asleep but I recognize that this song is quite beautiful
Thank you so much for playing this! William Ackerman was one of the first Windham Hill artists, and while it may remind some of \"cheesy new age\" it is really peaceful and beautiful to listen to. Maybe add some Alex Degrassi to the mix?

First time I\'ve ever heard this from somewhere besides my own CD - which kind of makes one listen to it all over again. Thanks Bill, that was really nice.
That\'s really neat. Kind of snuck up on me after the last track. Didn\'t even realize it was there for the first minute or so.
Hmm... elevator music with incense....
Sounds like mountaintop music - fresh air, trees, sky, fluffy clouds, a little babbling brook. Calgon - take me away!

Thanks kenmo. I uploaded this not expecting it to be added to the playlist. Imagine my surprise and delight. Glad you enjoy it.
