Yes, it has since been amended.  Cheers to RP.

Good song but the sound mix is terrible and the guitar a bit simplistic and rather boring, imho of course .

Fantastic, mesmerizing song for me.  Doesn't mention it under artist details but this album is a collaboration between  Vieux Farka Touré & Khruangbin.  Brilliant collaboration imo.

The best guitarists are coming out of Africa imho

deepl.com translated that last bit as "to find happiness and a life of wisdom"

I'm still trying to figure out what he really meant by "des motos-pompes". Looks like it's really a "motorized pump," like a kind used to pump water for agriculture. Maybe someone who speaks French can provide a better meaning.
happy birthday!
Just bought a ticket for Khruangbin at the Greek in Berkeley in August!
I've decided Khruangbin are awesome!
super j'adore
I just knew there was a Khruangbin connection.
What a cool vibe.
Excellent! Chalk up another artist discovered and appreciated from RP.
I like the Organ in the background very much. This makes it special !
From Google Translate:

I left my country and my Louisiana
But in other countries, goodbye Savanne

I found the subway is no small job
  But I am, I am a negro
I found the subway is no small job

But in other countries, goodbye Savanne

It's like a wise man once said:
  Instead of giving us bombs
Give us motorcycle pumps to find a happy life
and have a life of wisdom
A great tribute to the late Ali Farka Touré, thank you

(BTW, Google Translate used a coarser word than "negro".)
Great guitar beat. I thought it was Bombino upgraded.
Un grand hommage à feu Ali Farka Touré, merci

How nice to dedicate this to his father

So is that 1 and only 1 rating yours? Just curious.
This could  really use a remix. The vocals are too soft, snare is way too loud, no oomph to the bass and a tinny guitar... Too bad it's a really good groove otherwise.

New Vieux!  Excellent!  Saw him perform in March 2020 in Strasbourg (literally the week before Corona shut everything down...)  It was an incredible concert - amazing musicians, perfect sound, great small theater (Le Point d'Eau), wonderful company (first date)...  Before the concert there was a performance in the lobby by some artists/actors from Mali that was also unforgettable - what a memory!

We saw him and his current line up at the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh May 2023. Fabulous show in a small space. Highly recommended.
