kay made it to where most never been
fixed up outside and broke within
she always said goodnight
knowing the wrong from right
but on the way the top
they showed her things she never thought
and left her down in the dumps
all day and all of the night
don't let it get you down
kay grew up without making a sound
but skipped ahead to settled sown
aw won't you come out tonight
don't let it get you down
fixed up outside and broke within

Deep.
Sorry, I just can't stand that guitar wang, it sets my teeth on edge...and it keeps happening again and again. Shame, because I like the rest of the song.

At least you tried. Maybe they should be called The Mighty Spoon (like The Mighty Quinn) That might have given you more encouragement. They are a mighty good band!

Great transition into The Who - The Real Me.
Actually, ANYTHING after this song would be a welcome transition. One of the only tracks I've rated 1 on RP...

This song is exceptional. I rarely hear something on RP that I feel compelled to rate #1 sicko-barfo, but this really earned it. Please, Bill: Never again!
Lennon + Gabriel 1964... Nothing like repetition to take the head off a novelity..

Completely buggers the whole song doesn't it. First time ever I've taken the earphones out while listening to RP. The mix is way too uncomfortable for me.
love the lead.....daddy!...

I love Spoon. Can't wait to see them in ATL this Spring.
Gee, why no love for Spoon?
nice jangly guitar at times but jeez, couldn't they afford a real piano instead of borrowing some kid's toy??

'cause the engineer fell asleep since the lyrics are so repetitious...
If it were not for "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" by the Flaming Lips, "Kill the Moonlight" from Spoon would have been my favorite CD of 2002! It didn't leave my CD player for months....a 10!
Why are the vocals only in the left channel?
Looking at the reviews, it had a 5.9- I gave it a 10, and it jumped up to 6.1... I'm thinking I'll move it back down and see where the chips fall. This ain't a 10, I just did it to watch the numbers move.
Don't let it get you down!
Yay Bill...you finally found Kill the Moonlight!
This song's just six words long

It'd be less likely to get me down if you only said it a couple times.
what got him down was he couldn't think of anything else to say. what was "it" anyway I must have missed it!
