There’s a new version out and I like the choice of Suzanne Vega as the speaking voice, but it lacks the imperative, the forcefulness of the original. Once I listened to the whole four LP album from start to finish and either I had an epiphany or saw god or was bored out of my mind and had to reframe it as a positive experience. Whatever. This original version on Tomato records, OTOH, is literal genius. Go through the whole thing, at a very loud volume, and you, too, will be converted. 

Giving my cassette collection some love. The Technics player is 30+ years old. Rewind was sluggish, had to flip the cassette to Side 2 to FF to the beginning of Side 1. Mind you, the issue could be the old cassette.
