I have been listening to RP for about 20 years. Untill now I have never found an issue that required a post untill now. I just purchased an incredible pair of new headphones. I have always loved your audio quality and your soft-handed audio processing.

I have an audio background and have worked with many radio automation systems. If my memory is correct, your system is custom and your transitions between songs may be very different from systems I have worked with.

But armed with my wonderful new headphones, I am now painfully aware that often your transitions are inconsistent. Sometimes songs fade into silence. And other times songs are cut off in mid fade. Rarely do songs segue into the next. But occasionally the transition is quite artful.

When songs are cut off in mid-fade, the magic of the music is degraded. I hope your audio magicians will pay more attention to this small aspect of building your playlists.

Sonos really effed up their products with those updates. We're sorry that you're still having issues.
You could try a lower bitrate.
Listening to us in Sonos Radio works as well.

I had a hiccup and it jumped ahead almost an hour on the playlist, played a few songs and stopped updating again.

Though the music is still playing and progressing to new songs, my "Now playing" display keeps getting stuck at the "Listener-supported / Commercial-free." Also, the list of songs on what's just been played is frozen.

I can get it to reset with a Shift-Refresh, but the display just freezes up later.

Edit: I'm hearing Taj Mahal's You're Gonna Need Somebody On Your Bond again, when I think I heard it an hour ago. Not that I'm complaining too hard... it's a really fun song.

Edit 2: Seems fine now.

For the past hour or so the website hasn't been working(not displaying images or info) and repeating a small block of songs. Listening via Firefox 128.0, MacOS Sonoma 14.5. in northeast U.S. Edit: Five minutes later things seem to be back to normal...

We have done absolutely everything we can to prod Sonos into action on this. There's nothing else we can do at this point, and we invite your help.

They are definitely aware of the problem. But if you have a moment to drop them a note politely letting them know how INCREDIBLY ANNOYING this is...

We are aware of this and have had some success recommending lowering the bitrate. You can also find us in the Sonos Radio listing and play from there. It should not have the same issues.

We have reached out to Sonos and let them know what the situation is. We are also now encouraging listeners to file complaints with Sonos as well. You have to go to their support page and start a chat to be able to actually report the malfunctions.

This is still happening. It has been several days now. It seems like the Radio Paradise Service on Sonos is badly broken. At least for the Main Mix streams.

All of the Main Mix streams on the Radio Paradise Service on Sonos are playing partial songs and skipping ahead. I switched to the Radio Paradise station on the Sonos Radio service and it's working fine. This has been happening since yesterday.

"Get Down Moses" is being played at a very low volume, compared to the other songs on the Main Mix. Seems like a bug?

There were some undersea cable issues this weekend degrading things for Asia, should be more stable now, we made some improvements.

But you can try different regions. This is for Dallas and Rotterdam.

Same here, just a few minutes ago. Chromium-Legacy, stable edition on MacOS 10.13

Seems to point to a somewhat "shady" (not normalized?) audio source of Sound and Vision...
