I totally dug this. You can even hear the sustain pedal squeaking.
My first listen. Just got it in the mail today. I missed the squeaking but then again, i was busy taking pictures of a bunch of CDs to slap on eBay some day while playing the CD.
When I first started buying vinyl as a wee lad my friend and I would buy records with this same method. One day he picked up Rush 2112, thought the cover looked cool and he had a very vague idea of who they were but hadn't heard them before. If there is a listening experience I would do over in my life it was when we got home and put it on the turntable and had our minds blown.
That's cool! If i recall, the last time i tried an unknown and was blown away was Joe Bonamassa "So It's Like That". Have yet to hear any other of his albums that matches that one.
Now and then i'll purchase an album from an artist/band i know nothing or very little about. In this case: nothing. It usually starts with the album cover catching my attention (and this one does a good job with that). Then it's the album title and track titles. I check wiki for more info, like genre of music and off i go. It was only $10, so...
