On the hilltop, high above us
Stood his place of work
From its rooftop grew the tall mast
Reaching up to the sky
All around the blue corona
Lightning licks the ground
Charging through the coils of copper
While hums and crackles sound
Pulled from nowhere, forged in failure
You swim against the tide
All the while you see so clearly
All that lies ahead
You see the world now all connected
Flowing as a brain
You see the world the way it will be
Unfolding in your hands
What lies ahead
What lies ahead
Is forming in your hands
Stood his place of work
From its rooftop grew the tall mast
Reaching up to the sky
All around the blue corona
Lightning licks the ground
Charging through the coils of copper
While hums and crackles sound
Pulled from nowhere, forged in failure
You swim against the tide
All the while you see so clearly
All that lies ahead
You see the world now all connected
Flowing as a brain
You see the world the way it will be
Unfolding in your hands
What lies ahead
What lies ahead
Is forming in your hands

It's amazing how prolific and consistently good this guy's output is.
And that artwork is about as visceral as it gets.

It astounds me that this is the same amazing artist who blew me away with Trespass, Nursery Cryme, and Foxtrot so incredibly long ago; 1970-'72... Thank you, Peter, for all the Eternal Magic!
Wow. This is really something to behold. Peter Gabriel sounds amazing after all these years. Beautiful and inspiring Mr. Gabriel.
Peter's voice sounds just as pure as it did in 1986.

My Desert. My Arrakis. My Dune.
