I commented once (5 minutes ago or so) that maybe a 20-point scale is needed for proper granularity. But maybe it's actually that a logarithmic scale is needed? Since most quality, at rated, lives in Radio Paradise between 7-9? That said, I gave this a 7, based on the rating desciptors. Ok, I'll shut up now.
I'm glad to see that Matt Johnson is still going strong. He certainly seems to be much less angry these days!
IMHO this is an excellent song, but the term "Post Punk" is just an example of people engaging in mental m4sturb4t1on to try and sound like they know things that others don't.

No offense, but I think that's what the kids' kids say. Your point stands, but just saying ;)
digging this vibe, as the kids say
Matt Johnson asking the world's universal question

Killer new stuff from Matt! Everything I've heard from this record on RP makes me want to buy it!

About the things really on their minds
Films, football and the weather whatever
Kept the wolves from the door
Kept the truth from hitting home
Everything but time was going slow
Where do we go when we die?
Seeking proof, searching for signs
Where do we go when we die?
The sun may fall but the moon will rise
Weighing fortune counting cost
You were rich in all you'd lost
But what's the point of life
If we can never die?
You're on my mind all the time
Weak men lie, strong men cry
Where do we go when we die?
The sun may fall but the moon will rise
To the sound of raindrops
To the ticking of the clock
We packed your clothes and your books
Took them to the charity shop
The old has ended and the new has begun
Sons become fathers, fathers become sons
And as the river flows back into the sea, then so shall we
Where do we go when we die?
Seeking proof searching for signs
Where do we go when we die?
The sun may fall but the moon will rise
