I remember buying a pirated cassette of this landmark Lou Reed jam in a crazy little food court/ shopping mall-kinda complex in downtown KL while freaking out on all the fruits from Outer Space and digging on the natural mascara that all the knock-out local gals seem to be born with, and going back to the hotel with Veronica, the Singapore Airlines stewardess I was blessed to have met at Lake Toba, Sumatera Utara, where we stayed a week and then traveled to Berastagi for a weekend before taking the chauffeured Benz to KL. We met up in Narita a year later, and though I never got to see her again after that, this album remains in regular rotation!
