Well I can find my way
I know my left from right
Because we never close
I'm open day and night
I know my way around
I walk towards the light
I'm open round the clock
I don't get lost at night
You never used to be
Afraid of days like these
But now you're overwhelmed
By your anxieties
Let me help you out
Let me be your guide
I can help you reach
The love you feel inside
Love you feel inside
Love you feel inside
Well I can find my way
I know my left from right
Because we never close
I'm open day and night
Oh, oh, oh yeah
Oh, oh, oh yeah
You never used to be
Afraid of days like these
But now you're overwhelmed
By your anxieties

without looking at liner notes, the bass playing must be Sir Paul, melodic and innovative even with the young C Scientist Beck singing along.

both are good
i know i've heard this before, but i guess it's not a cover. must have heard it on the high school radio.

So much Beck in this! Mix that with Sir Paul and we've got a winner folks! Deserving of a dancing banana!

I guess the world really HAS had enough of silly love songs

I like the tofu die on the album art :)
We march on!!
Came in on the last half. It began to sound vaguely familiar, in some way...the singer. Who is that? No foolin'...
but the not-Beatle-or-Wings McCartney catalogue is quite extensive and versatile and so not like either of those two, and some of it imho is very good. (Fireman, anyone?) Sir Paul has been addicted to making music since he was a kiddo, and great for him and good for us, and god bless him, a genuine, unique and irreplaceable titan of his many forms.

Some people need to stop being such condescending critics and just enjoy the jam. Two dancing bananas, and a bouncy face!
Growing up listening to the Beatles, their fame sometimes overshadowed their talent. Paul McCartney is indeed a truly brilliant musician.

HA! I am not a fan of post-Beatles McCartney. When this came on and I looked to see who it was I was like - "This is actually kinda good, I need to reassess my preferences".
no, I don't.
Peoples... this is in fact Beck redoing a McCartney tune... it was an album of covers and remixes of Sir Paul's songs.
It's quite obviously Beck from the sound and style.

This is good by any standards but made a lot better knowing it's Paul. He could just sit back and watch Netflix all day but, instead, he tries new stuff. Good on him.

I have so many questions, the most important of which I think is "why?"

No, they did Tommy and Quadrophenia.
This is Beck, er, I mean Paul McCartney.
Wait, this is WHO?

This sounds a lot like Metronomy! Everyone who nows this band might agree.
wow how the mighty have slipped, sorry Sir Paul . . .
I've often wondered when pondering the creative genius of the world's top musicians: "How are they able to keep creating new and different music for so many years?" and "At what age do those creative juices turn to a trickle?"
I suppose, when applying the second question to Sir Paul, my answer is "80".

Be it Paul or Beck - it works!
Great song, I think this kid has a bright future.
weak...
Hey Bill and Rebecca,
maybe you should mark this in your database as the "Beck Remix"?
I love both versions, but honour to whom honour is due ;)

There should be a "Meh" rating. Probably around "3" or "4".
Aaaaaaand I wasn't expecting this!!
Not bad! The 80-year-old has some kick left in him!
