Sand on my feet, you're running me out of town
Out of my mind
Thousands of leaves, they bury me under her eyes
Mild breeze is telling me it's not my time
She's not mine
So day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
Day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
I'm lost in the sea of sweet design
Smoke that I breathe awakens me and she's divine
But she's not mine
So day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
Day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
Heaven up above, may lift my thoughts of you
Hand that touched the earth
Make me lovely and touch me, too
Make me crystal pure, cast my heart anew
So day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
Day by day, I'll turn my dreams
Into a ministry, a ministry, a ministry of her love
Just noticed all the negative comments. Although it's got a 7.3. Just fucking enjoy the track, it's great
It's up to 7.5 and I just gave it an 8, so the moving average is moving on up!
If Bill ever airs a Ministry song I'll eat my hat!
See https://radioparadise.com/musi... and then break out the A1 Hat Sauce!!
Confession: Thought I was about to hear a Ministry song.
Samesies. Was racking my brain trying to remember their song "Karen O."
Still a solid 10.
I fell for it too... just before the vocals kicked in I glanced over to see who it was, saw the white on black graphics and title and had a moment of "THIS is Ministry?! wtf - which album?". How about shakin' it up some, Bill? perhaps Jesus Built My Hotrod? *grin*
Believe it or not, but REALLY early Ministry actually has a lot more in common with this song that with Jesus Built my Hotrod!

Hey, it's the interweb... Grumblers are gonna grumble. Take heart from the (now) 7.5 rating. Most folk love the song
Mans, this just sound better and better and better....
Makes me want to invade and occupy Korea and take all the bright and creative Koreans for ourselves. Gotta move early on these kinds of initiatives.
Then we will ESG north Korea into a burgeoning version of South Korea and take all the talent from that country.
Neo-Viking constructive engagement (well, perhaps not the invasion and occupation bit) will win over the North in no time.
Why? I doubt Canada can feasibly invade and occupy the USA even if maybe 40% of the population would welcome such an initiative.
Well, Canada does keep looking better and better as an option!
Michael Kiwanuka also collaborated with Danger Mouse. So I guess that's the reason
So now I'm wondering, did Dangermouse steal Kiwanuka's guitar pedals, or the other way round? (kidding of course)
Reminds me of that Michael Kiwanuka tune...
or of Issac Hayes?

WTF? Put the pipe down, man.
This is what Billie Eilish wished she could be and never ever will be.
I"m not a big Billy Eyelash fan, but I don't see any comparison, or impetus for one.

Good Bot.
Reminds me of that Michael Kiwanuka tune...
Though production is by far not as poor as in that case. Looks like, if you have limited skills, you keep the best for your own stuff...

Looks like a few other people did too.
'Ministry' is the song title.
Karen O & Danger Mouse the artist(s).
How can you tell?

It's been two years since the last comment, 0 plays in the last 30 days, but I'm assuming that it has been played.
Good song. Not played enough here.

I suggest battered and deep fried... or maybe a good dipping sauce.

Jesus Built My Hot Rod is an amazing song, I've just gone to You Tube to remind myself how much I love it!
If Bill ever airs a Ministry song I'll eat my hat!
Sounds like a challenge that @BillG CANNOT let go...besides, you've got dipping sauces to help swallow whatever sort of hat you'll be eating whenever a Ministry tune is played.
LLRP!!
Nine times?
Nine times.
Good isn't it - nine times !

A darned good one. And it's "a" Korean mother and "a" Polish Father, Jerzy, or is it Jacek?

I guess I'll have to submit some now. Maybe "Jesus Built My Hotrod"?
She grew up here in lovely New Jersey. Don't know what else to say to this.
I like his work with Broken Bells and this tune but yeah, it feels like he is repeating his formula with every artist.
I like Dangermouse, but that's a fair criticism, I think. There is no joy in Dangermouse whatsoever.
I couldn't agree more! In fact, I said so two months ago:
Posted 2 months ago by Kilroy:Exact same beginning as "Leave it Alone" by Broken Bells
Thanks for reminding me about that great, bonkersmad track. I actually stepped out of RP for a couple of minutes to refresh my memory on that one. WOOOOOAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Before I plow through Danger Mouse's body of work, any suggestions as to what I should focus on?
Focus on something else. It all sounds the same.
Absolutely! And I fall for it every time.

Yeah, though if he ever does it would probably be something like their cover of Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay" (off their album Filth Pig). That would be soooo RP...

Probably not very likely to hear here.
Silky, down tempo, techno-ambient, ...., whatever, great emotional, head tune-up.
Thank you!!
