Great music. But on most National tracks, it's variations on the same music over and over. After a few listens, the magic vanishes. But the drummer has some groovy chops.

Such a big fuss being made over these guys. I know they are talented and all, but I find their music to be so monotonous and gray.
I'm to the point now where I can identify The National in less than 7 notes! Maybe this one will grow on my; first impression = 6. (Great segue to Dave Mason though, BillG!)
