Say it's here where our pieces fall in place
Any rain softly kisses us on the face
Anywhere means we're running
We can sleep and see 'em coming
Where we drift and call it dreaming
We can weep and call it singing

Where we pray when our hearts are strong enough
We can bow 'cause our music's warmer than blood
Where we see enough to follow
We can hear when we are hollow
Where we keep the light we're given
We can lose and call it living

Where the sun isn't only sinking fast
Every night knows how long it's supposed to last
Where the time of our lives is all we have
And we get a chance to say
Before we ease away
For all the love you've left behind
You can have mine

Say it's here where our pieces fall in place
We can fear 'cause the feeling's fine to betray
Where our water isn't hidden
We can burn and be forgiven
Where our hands hurt from healing
We can laugh without a reason

'Cause the sun isn't only sinking fast
Every moon in our bodies make shining glass
Where the time of our lives is all we have
And we get a chance to say
Before we ease away
For all the love you've left behind
You can have mine

They were here in Hamburg, Germany on Saturday - the Fabrik, a great venue, up close and personal (with a beer in my hand).  Aside from great music, great text writing and a wonderful band, they had hand projected graphics behind the band, generated by two artists with overhead projectors and paper cutouts. This is indescribable, go see them for yourself.
Thanks again and again Bill (sorry, William) for introducing me to bands I otherwise wouldn't hear. I can't count how often that has happened, this has truly enriched my life.
It is pleasant.
Great follow up to Ryan Adams The Sun Also Sets...good job Bill!

Told my wife the same thing the other day. I hope she remembers.

I hope that's not an alcoholic caffeinated cocktail. We'll call it California Coffee.

Well, he's blindfolded. Maybe he can't tell left from right without looking at his hands.

Or he had been drinking too much wine.

That's weird. On the album cover he appears to be playing a flipped upside down guitar, ie left-handed. So I went to Youtube to see footage of him playing and he doesn't appear to be playing left handed. #justsaying

Has elements of Fix You by Coldplay in the chorus. An enjoyable tune, uplifting melody

I finished watching the series 'Longmire' and this track played in the finale. Very moving and completed the scene.

A few I&W tracks were sprinkled throughout that series.
I don't mind Iron and Wine, but this song is a 1 for me.

What a fun. Immediately played after Bowies "Sound and Vision".
LOL
Thank you Bill.
I love, love, love this song. Reminds me of my Florida vacation with my bestie.
The whole album is incredible, one of my favorites of 2017.
Played after BillG's "Thanks for 20 years of RP" message and it's appropriate to hear as I'd CALL IT DREAMING having been blessed to listen to RP for 15 of the 20 years....Long Live RP, Bill & Rebecca and all listeners of this station!!
7 -=> 8
Solid.
This song makes me feel so vulnerable... I cried with this song at his concert.. the best concert ever!
I finished watching the series 'Longmire' and this track played in the finale. Very moving and completed the scene.
just saw this guy with Calexico.  SOOOOO GOOD!
You can feel the link to Cat Stevens. And that is a wonderful thing.
This. All of this. This is the kinda song people fall in love to/with.

Yep, if that trick is writing and performing great music, he's got that one covered.

Nice. I like Iron and Wine, but find some of their stuff pretty droning. This is pretty.

Cool tune, nice production, but I thought the lyric at the end of the first verse was going somewhere else:

Where we drift and call it dreaming
We can weep and call it singing

I thought the last word was going to be another word, starting with "S", which sort of rhymes with "dreaming".

"Steaming" ?    cool tune  : )
Outstanding piece :o)~     Connecticut .
just got tickets for his new tour...
