I caught a glimpse of professional evil,
On the day our poor hearts died
I fell in love with professional evil,
On the day you left my side

I see tons of people looking lost and lethal
And I think we're all the same
So I scale the steeple and I take a leap,
But I just cant keep the stain,

From my soul
It burns so cold,
Its got to go

Its into my soul
Its into my soul

Things fall apart in the blink of an eye,
Better keep yours open wide
Things fall apart in the blink of an eye,
No they cant be satisfied

I see tons of people looking lost and lethal,
And I know we're all the same
But now its gone forever,
And there's nothing to keep
But I still cant scratch the stain,

From my soul
It burns so cold
Oh watch it go,
Through my soul

Have mercy lord
Why cant we do
back over me, back over you
back overboard
by two by two
back over me, back over you

I know My life, can be my life
My life can be my life

Have mercy lord, on my life
Have mercy lord
Have mercy
have mercy mercy mercy, on my life

as this tune constantly pushes my volume to rotate right and my body wiggle without control, I had to bump it 7->8 how high will it go?
TVOTR rocks
a very 80's sound.

and, in the refrain "into my soul..." i keep hearing "you can ring my bell"

weird.
not bad - has put me in the mood for some Billy Idol though

From "The Rocker."
Hi Radio Paradise.
Thanks for easing my current life here in Ukraine supporting the Ukrainian Red Cross to assist IDPs on the run - it is freezing cold, but listening to you give me warm feelings.
Thanks
Gee I hope the neighbors like this one.

I agree! I never heard of this band, prior to RP. Now I really like them! Thank You RP! Please play some of their other tunes!!

TVOTR... listen once, meh... listen twice, oh... there's something there... listen thrice, fuck this is addictive!

"Seeds" is a good album too.

Thank you Bill, for the perfect soundtrack during a 3-hour layover at DFW!
Very nice looking website RadioParadise, a lot has changed the last time I visited back in 2017-2018. Thank you so much, this is epic. Will use it more often now!

The left or the right?
This guy's voice is a dead ringer for Gryff Rhys of Super Furry Animals etc., both class acts. Anyone else hear it?
Part of the soundtrack of my life. RIP, Reetha :(

Change the "Pro" to "Re" and I'll agree.

It's a completely different chord progression, but there seems to be a clear influence in the tempo and production.

Is this like other TV on the Radio songs? Nope?  Is it a good song. Yep.

Propulsive.

                            Take a leap of faith.
( See you next time around.)
Never mind,  there'll be same changes

I just heard "Video killed the radio star" on sirius in the car.
Serious butt dancing going on here.
doing the pogo all over the place woo-hoooo boing-boing!!!
Reminds me of Kaiser Chiefs, whom I haven't heard in a while on RP, and I really want to! This seems better to me than their last stuff!
Definitely having an 80's flashback experience with this song right now.

Dammit I was just going to say this is my favorite TVOTR but now ...

Still a 7, I guess. I like the hook.
More! That's an addictive, happening beat. An 8. I'm easy this morning. The sun is bright in clear skies but the temp is a single digit and I'm tempted to pop a new bottle of wine at 11 a.m.  I can do that. Freelancing has its perqs.  Radio on the Computer.
Love that cover. Like the song too, but the cover's a real win.
Disappointing 3.

i love these guys! so happy to see they seem not to have lost their edge.
This is  - different, coming from these guys. Like other poster, could probably grow on me. Has some definite 80's stuff going on, but is almost Bowie-esque in places.
Wow, I guess these guys aren't done yet.
Incredible band.
Light Billy Idol 2013 ...

Same here.  I thought I was listening to an 80s thing I missed back then.  The album date surprised me.

Friggin' love this band. Can't wait to hear the rest of the new album!
Nice bit of energy to get the workday going.
TVOTR fan but not feeling this on first listen.  Too pedestrian.  Not distinctive like most TVOTR songs.
Diggin' it!  Glad to see they have some new material - I'm optimistic about what else may show up on a new album
Yes - fired up to hear this. great tempo
this puppy is ROCKIN'!   fun too
