It reminds me of the theme music for one of my favorite movies, Le Bruges.
There's an aura of Erik Satie in this. I'm feeling like I'm drawn to a rain lashed window overlooking a small French city with umbrellas scurrying around in various movements trying to get to where they want to be.
Very evocative. If you don't already, you should write stories.
and your opinion mean nothing to me!
Or, mayhap, ANY morning...?

Bye Felicia...
Hm. Kind of liked this until I read your comment. It's a rare thing for me to say but I think you're right ;-)
The mechanical repetitiveness is kind of creepy.
Lose the knife, it's a beautiful mass-murder doll that goes on a killing spree when you play this song on a music box that goes with her. As I am writing this, Agnes Obel's song Familiar has started - a perfect song to follow omg this is all so creepy
Could it not be construed to mean choose the president? Surely that's only contentious in Florida for guys named Al?
Only if they're friends with guys named Chad.
(Not even going start on the hanging reference…)

Dear CarpePotus:
Dude, that screen name will find you on the wrong side of Big Brother (NSA) when they finally get around to snooping this thread.
(And nope, can't say I hear any similarities with the once-upon-a-time Moody Blue.)
Sincerely,
unclehud

Stop the suffering, never more!

Not really, but everyone hears different stuff. Justin Hayward did not compose "Forever Autumn", by the way, he was essentially selected to sing it on Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" album.
maybe the tempo but not much else, I'm afraid. Thanks for the reminder about "Forever Autumn", though...must dig that out soon.
Three of my four cats were looking at me, blinking occasionally, while this song played. It felt like we were all in some movie, and something dramatic had just happened.
Maybe you had to be here.
You need to read Murikami and then you will understand
Have I told you the differences between heaven and hell? In heaven the French are the cooks, the Germans are the engineers, the British are the police, the Italians are the lovers, and the Swiss run everything. In hell…the British are the cooks, the French are the engineers, the Germans are the police, the Swiss are the lovers, and the Italians run everything.
there's allways a reason to go to France ! (remember this German sentence "happy like God in France". true)
That's freakin' hilarious!
Such a good movie, and the soundtrack was wonderful, and this is reminiscent of it.

ppfffff....!!!!
Normally I can at least barely understand the point you are trying to make. I attribute that to an understanding that there is a much larger and valued world out there that doesn't speak English and shouldn't have to.
However, I have no idea WTF you are talking about here.
More post rock!
Indeed.
yep

You have no musical taste.
'Lovely' is a perfect description.
OMG this is good. Really. I love Mogwai. Love it love it love it. 10. Play GYBE now.
I love Mogwai, but unfortunately missed this. Wasn't aware of this EP. Haven't kept tabs on them lately.
Please keep it in the playlist, Bill, so I can decide whether I should get this. :)
