I thought it was Lucinda Williams at the start.

Wish the accompaniment was turned down some on this one.
It's Eliza's voice, stupid :)

Agree it's a bad mix. Also agree w/Beezy Thought it was Lucinda...
I thought it was going to be a Bruce Cockburn song when it started.  Maybe that's why I liked it.

the tune is pretty average but I really like the words of this song, and combined with the tune it makes an honest down to earth good song, like it{#Guitarist}
Lucinda?
Bumping this one up from 7 to 8.  I like the lyrics, but more, I like her lazy way of dragging her voice up or down to the notes, then hitting them dead-on. The slow vibrato, that shuffling drum (reminds me of some of Roger Taylor's more inventive work)...  Yep, I like this song and so far, this artist.
i don't know if it's my sophomoric sense of humor or if there's something about the meter that makes me expect "fall apart" to just be one syllable, yet still rhyme with "heart". {#Whistle}
Nice stuff. Don't know why all the haters have a bug up their ass. I've seen Eliza live a couple of times. Puts on a great show.
Wow, that's bad. And the awkward rhymes only make it worse.

Ho hum
Pretty pretty pretty bad

Yeah!

She's better than this song!
This is a tough one. I love the line about "looking for a place where I can fall apart," and she has shadows of Sam Phillips in her vocals. I might need a few more listens, but for now, it's 7 because the lyrics are good...
Love the guitar!
