Old man prey
Please tell me
How deep migh these seas be
On seashores of promise
I'm frozen in this moment
Into the sea
Make love
Make waves
Stand by me Sweet lady
Wo go in and freely
We give up our senses
Our walls and defences
Into the sea
Make love
Make waves
Into the sea
Make love
Make waves
And if the sharks on the prowl
The whale has stranded on the beach
Know that friendly shore
Is always within reach
Into the sea
Old freinds in dark places
Old scars on their faces
One godd friend
Makes up for
Ten bad ones
Tenfold
Into the sea
Into the sea
Make love
Make waves
Into the sea
Make love
Make waves
Into the sea
Into the sea
Make waves
Into the sea

I'm a bit dense so help me out here. Is Sivert popular with the women listeners? Just curious.

I think he has an amazing voice. It makes me turn up the volume every time I hear him. Good stuff.........

Oh My god!!! A different Sivert Hoyem song !! Liking it..nice to hear a different tune from this guy
Seriously, and I'm actually enjoying this one.
..by strange Sivert extension: "make waves, not war"..& "all you need is waves"..coo!..
If you come in during the snare drum, you can definitely hear 'Radar Love'
Madrugada was magic. But this is pretty decent.
As a good Norwegian, Sivert should now a lot about the sea, and fish for that matter. This oneness with the sea should emerge from some near-genetic material level.
This song always makes me think of zombies stomping around.

it's good to hear that he sounds that good live. i hope to one day see him. i've been hooked for a while.
I live in Norway and have recently been lucky to see this guy and his band at our local venue.
An absolutely brilliant gig and his voice is just as good live. Wish I had managed to see Madrugada though.

Ahhhh was surprised to see this wasn't Madrugada, but quickly discerned from the comments that it's the same vocalist. Good song! Made me want to check it out.

I don't mind talking with myself. But it's the insults that get me down.

Every once in a while a song comes on RP that makes me stop what I am doing and listen. This is one of those. Nice song.

ah-ha. i knew this voice was familiar.. at first i thought it was The National, but there was a little to much melody in his voice. I like the Madrugada guy's voice (i will never manage to memorize his name).

This song takes on a different meaning on the day the news broke of the big Japanese earthquake and tsunami ... (nice song, though)
Dear Bill,
Thank you so much for introducing me to Madrugada and Sivert Hoyem. We are very happy together here at RP.

That voice just stops me in my tracks every time I hear it.

I take issue with your psychology teacher's assertion. It makes no sense to converse with someone who is not conversing with you in kind. To persistently speak to someone who is not speaking to you at all would seem to me a sign of low self-esteem.
Personally, I find a thriving dissociative identity disorder to strike the best balance here: there is a rich contrast between the different voices being spoken and being heard. Ideally, I would like to hear from more female gender identities in my own internal enclave. But that may be asking too much of mere insanity.
I do believe that frequent contributions to the RP song comments board encourages diversity among one's identities, if not harmony.

...i thought madrugada as well, but now that i'm listening to more of the song, this solo work is noticably different in style...
Like this better than the preceding Cloud Cult buzz-kill tune.

Instant 8
I had no idea the vocalist from Madrugada was still recording. This is a great discovery! Thank you, Bill and Rebecca.
Heard and instantly recognized the voice. Unfortunately was too busy and mobile to listen.

I thought this might be something from Madrugada... but this is something else. Interesting.

Excellent!
Speaking as a woman listener — This is the first time I've heard him and I'm like "eh." Not awful, not fantastic.
