So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade, your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year
Running over the same old ground, what have we found?
The same old fears, wish you were here
Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade, your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year
Running over the same old ground, what have we found?
The same old fears, wish you were here

this one did not do it for me—-still wanna hear her interpretations of some of the others, tho.
Different and well done. The poetry still works. 7
I suppose this is okay but nothing can touch the original version.
This rates up there with Peter Gabriel's version of "The Boy in the Bubble."

Nice interpretation!
Did not recognize this immediately - it's ok, but I love the Pink Floyd version so much I can't really go higher than a 4 on this cover.
Wish you were beer.
Well, this is different, that's for sure.
I like it.
I like it.
This, however, is blasphemy, treason, a travesty . . . it sucks. This is a bad cover of a truly iconic song. She shouldn't have even tried. And Bill should not reward the effort.
