Went on a bit, didn't it.
Disconnecting!
This is really good. If I was sitting in a pub and some guys started to play like this, I'd be happy to die once the set was done (or the pint, whichever) Fabulous playing and regardless of what some might think, quite skilled and creative.
Love anything that sounds irish
Wake me when it's over.

Your son must be a musical prodigy if he can play this well - but I guess that doesn't mean it's not "boring" to some people.
Boring! Like my 6-year old son's trying to play something...

Reminds me of that great one-off album "Skip, Hop and Wobble."
Starts nice enough but just goes on and on and on and on and on and on

Your 6 year old is awesome !HA!!
Who's et Al?
Bluejazz for strings. They're picking up where Miles, 'Trane, et al. left off.

A little too much aimless noodling for my taste.

Turtle Island meets Celtic is OK by me.

I understand why the song is named "disconnect", makes me want to.

I was thinking that this has "Turtle Island String Quartet" written all over it, and sure enough Jeremy Kittel is in that group, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of the others joined him on this song as well. Absolutely lovely.

So nice to hear a local boy on RP! We've watched Jeremy grow up here in Ann Arbor, MI
Nice strings. Kinda reminds me of the classic musical interlude in Loggins & Messina's "Be Free" (long version). Check it out.

Montreux had Barbara Higbie on piano, though. I'm thinking more Rite of Strings (Clarke, DiMeola, et al.).
Nice - and extremely reminiscent of Montreux from 20+ years ago.

Reminds me of some of the Windom Hill stuff that I use to listen to in the eighties. Very nice
After a few listens I decided I really like this
I simply have to get on down to Amazon again soon... lovely, fresh, inspiring
Boring! Like my 6-year old son's trying to play something...
Wonderful fiddle player and per usual excellent set - THANKS!
Jeremy Kittel is a local artist here in Ann Arbor. We've been seeing him play since he was a kid. So nice to hear him on RP!
Beautiful... especially at this time of night (2 am est).
This song had me tapping both my feet and nodding my head in my office chair. I would also do air violin, but I have to keep my hands on the keyboard! :D
This is sounding better and better... I might have to look into buying this one.
I love instrumental folk music. It has a nice tone.
Saw him in Ann Arbor a few years ago. Everybody in the room was awestruck.
Good stuff, along the lines of Rites of Strings (Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola, Jean-Luc Ponty).
Parts of this seemed promising, but alas, most of it sounds out of tune. yuck
I like it so far on first listen
Woo-hoo! First comment (unless someone hits Submit before I do).
Disquieting intro, nice mélange of influences in the main part, including a good Celtic tinge. Interesting. Not easy listening, but interesting. 6 from the Nottingham jury.

Wow, this is great! If this song is indicative of the rest of the album I'm going to purchase it.
Just booring, please disconnect.
I very much liked this under played tune.
