===SPOILER: POLITICALLY INCORRECT JOKE ====
So these two hillbillies get married, and not having any money, they have the honeymoon at his folks' house.
Late that night, Pa is watching TV and does a double take when, out of the corner of his eye, he sees his son sitting in the chair next to him.
"Boy, watcho doin' here? Yer supposed ta be in th' other room... with yer bride.... on yer honeymoon....y'know?"
"Pa, I done left her"
"WHAT?!? On yer weddin' night?!?!?!"
"Pa, I just found out... well.... she's a virgin"
A long silence passes between them.
"Boy, yuh done th' right thing. If'n she ain't good enough fer her own family, she ain't good enough for ours."
(I don't know why this song reminds me of that joke)
If all Country Music sounded this good I'd listen to a lot more of it.
No complaints from this quarter Bill. Just like all other genres, some country music is great. True, some is awful, but isn't that true about rock, folk, pop, classical, etc? It can't all be great! So, more country music Bill! Yeee Hawww! :-)
YeeHaw!!!!
Wooo Doggie! Love it!
I normally like Dave Edmunds, but this sounds like something they might have played on Hee Haw.
Thanks for the warning there Bill!
The spirit of George Jones lives and this guy on the cover even looks a little like him.
I wonder if he grits his teeth when he sings?

Really like his "Creature from the Black Lagoon"
I need to upload that one.

If I drove a truck
And I were waitress
And I ordered coffee
And I poured you some
Then you'd stop by
On your way sometime later
And if we arm-wrestled
I'd say that you won
My baby, ride easy
Ride high in the saddle all day
If your lovin' is good
And your cookin' ain't greasy
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
If I were a winsome pale senorita
And I a bull-fighter, down in the sand
While the band kept on playing
That old Paso Doble
I'd throw you a flower
Would you take my hand?My baby, ride easy
Ride high in the saddle all day
If your lovin' is good
And your cookin' ain't greasy
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
If I ran the country
Yeah, I'd be your first lady
And fix up the white house
While you were away
Waitin' while I'm passing time
With world leaders
And later, together alone we might lay
My baby, ride easy
Ride high in the saddle all day
If your lovin' is good
And your cookin' ain't greasy
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
My baby, ride easy
Ride high in the saddle all day
If your lovin' is good
And your cookin' ain't greasy
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
Hitch up the chuck wagon
Hitch up the chuck wagon
Hitch up the chuck wagon
And we'll ride away
