I guess you either like Natalie's voice or you don't. I do. Its a heartfelt version, not some let's get together for a tribute CD and see if we can pull of this tune effort.

My first thought on hearing this was "Blasphemy!" I agree -- just because you can doesn't mean you should. But then I hate Natalie Merchant's voice anyway.

Production is quite good, I just don't think her voice is quite convincing for me on this tune. Not too bad though.

I always liked this song 30 some years ago, and it's nice to hear it reborn by someone other than the former Cat (Yusuf What the Hell's My Name?) Stevens.
