Are you still waiting
For the children
To tumble away

Walk us through
Fields undivided
Feel the weightless
Return back to you

Down in the valley
I've not lost a thing
Down here in the valley
Where the mission bells ring

Two by two
The lights shine
In the orchard
Ask me why I'd
Stand in for you

And I once knew
The feel of a body
Satisfied, oh so satisfied

When nobody's watching
Will you please be kind
When nobody's watching
Will it be your way or mine

Down in the valley
I've not lost a thing
Down here in the valley
Where the mission bells ring

Station grey

That's Sykes actually, and a beautiful (or awsome, if I were mischievous) voice imho
Thanks RP
I love the initial guitars - such fantastic tone

Excellent tune!  ...But, I have to agree about the accent. Definitely not an "Upstate NY" accent.
Helluva guitarist in this band.
Well, that was kinda cool.

Unusual track and a great sound. One to file away for further investigation... Beautiful, in fact.

Methinks this is a waltz, or its gets waltzy at points.

There are measures of the song which are in 6/8 or 3/4 time, which is sometimes called "waltz time".
These guys were the best Prog Rock band - and there are so many better cuts than this. How about something from Drama or Going For the One? Awaken, Turn of the Century, Release Release?
I went ahead and bought the album after I made the previous comment. It and a T-shirt cost $22.
I haven't heard this yet but I saw the title of the album in the playlist last month and haven't stopped thinking about it since. Them is some good words.
Oh I do recommend this superb album, I can't emphasize enough how good it is She is a brilliant musician, no question!

I agree, totally, Jesse Sykes is much maligned because of her unique and I think simply marvelous singing and playing style, top marks here for this.
I like it! It kinda sounds like a modern rock flavored Grace Slick, if she hadn't given up on music.

Her "The Dreaming Dead" is absolutely flawless. So far it sounds as though all the flaws were saved up for this track. Maybe I just need to give it time...
Not bad. Not great, but not bad.
Bury it, Bill. This sucks, along with REM and Prince!
