GREAT TUNE!  Thank You for sharing your story.

milonga

Popular rioplatense dance, of a linked couple, that has a lively and marked rhythm and is related to tango.

Wow! Always loved to dance. Wish I had gotten to this level.

And that bumps this to 9...

This just seems a little tongue in cheek to me. Love it! It reeks of European Spy Love Adventure. And there's ... a Tango in there somewhere. {#Mrgreen}
Accordion music?  {#Eh}
All the right ingredients and baked to perfection.
no comment ! this was the best they have created !... difficult to get over this ! ;)
This song always played around closing time at an East Village bar I frequented when I was single. It triggers all sorts of memories of unexpected encounters both strange and memorable.
Tres Quartango-ish which is a very good thing.

Got it, only post comments directly related to the music, no variations, no diversions, no out the box remarks or segue-way's allowed.  Anything else you want to enlighten us on?

It's clever, it's different, it's interesting...it goes on a bit though doesn't it
Ok, now follow this with some Bajofondo Tango Club please!
Nice.
Makes me think of the movie Twelve Monkeys.

Love it!
OMG — I *just* finished watching a marathon session of Nip / Tuck season 4, and they played this song on a couple episodes.  And I was thinking I knew it from RP first.  {#Clap}  (though I always thought it was Pink Martini....)

This is such a cool tune!  So many good Gotan tracks but this is my personal favorite.

Variations on a theme. Yes, it fits nicely into the receptors.

I like this song. Groovy...

{#Jump}
Dame Space Pirates!!!!
The crickets chirping in rhythm with the music are creeping me out a little. There goes our temperature estimate...

It reminds you of 12 monkeys because its OST includes several segments of "Suite Punta del Este", one of the many master pieces of Astor Piazzolla. Since I am writing I may as well say that if you like this kind of music, I strongly recommend you the similar (but imho somewhat better) group called "Bajo Fondo Tango Club".

Cheers

make it stop!
It made me love being at work listening to chill lounge tango

Great for about 30 seconds. Then boredom sets in with this repetitive loop. Enough already.
Love the retro feel of this one. Kinda "Paris in the 50's"-like. Mixed with modern Trance beats. I like.

Good analogy. Had me groovin' to it all the same.
repetitive, boring, not much going on for it besides milking off the tango karma. i give it a blah
More and More Gotan Project please!!! I really love them, they are gooooooood =D
I wish there was a sexy tango dancing Emoticon!!
Oh yeah! Now we're talkin!
catch this band live if at all possible. great stuff.
As I listen to RP, I keep a text file open with a list of the CDs I plan to buy when I can. I just added this one to it. I know I might be able to buy just the one track from iTunes, but I like to check out the lesser-known songs each CD offers. While many complain that today's CDs have at best one hit with lots of filler, my taste in music is such that that's not often the case.
Smokey hot! Haters, check your pulse...you just might be dead.
Hmm... That song is about a hundret minutes to long, IMHO... o.O It really bores me at some point, sorry.

This is the first I've heard them, and I like, but I can see how a little goes quite a ways. P.S. Your spelling is looking a little regged there. ziggytrix wrote:
