Thinkin' so much my crowded head became sore
Fell back into the place I was before
Reasons long enough to not let show
I follow through this once because I said so
I think I got it all figured out
I think I got it made
I think I got it all figured out
I think my plan is safe from laughter
From laughter, no
I'll wait
I'll wait the day
Slowly I begin to come around
I woke up to a soft and subtle sound now
Someone is speaking one room away
Just loud enough so i can hear what they're sayin'
Sayin'
I think I got it all figured out
I think I got it made
I think I got it all figured out
I think my plan is safe from laughter
From laughter, no
I'll wait
I'll wait the day
And I watch what I say and I
Watch what I do and I
Watch what I say and I
Watch what I
I think I got it all figured out
I think I got it made
I think I got it all figured out
I think my plan is safe from laughter
From laughter
From laughter (I'll wait)
From laughter (I'll wait)
From laughter (I'll wait the day)
From laughter
I'll wait

a welcomed blast from the past... i have this on minidisc!
I worked in London during the summer of 2003 and got a mixed CD 'for free' in a music mag. They did that there/then...fun and fab.
This was one of the tracks in an eclectic mix and, despite my self-administered resist-the-pop, I came to enjoy the horns, lyrics & vibe. No bad edges for me. Think I've got it all figured out; think my plan is safe from laughter. (HAH! That will be the day for me.)

Not bad..........
a bit poppy for me
Good background music, for when you want to kill the silence but don't want to be moved or engaged in the least by the music.
Never heard of this guy before. I quite like him, good pop.

Maybe it's K.D. Lang after downing a glass of Alka-Seltzer. Whoever that is sure looks bilious.
Is that K.D. Lang on the album cover?

Agreed, irritating scratchy voice on a par with Oasis's Liam
His voice grates on me for some reason.

Dear Lord, this is horrible!
His CD's are consistantly very good
Good track! Thanks for playing.
Sheer Quality !!!
is this his first album?
Solid song, solid artist.
Much needed after the James BLunt-sound-alike Powderfinger.
Goodness me this is a dull set
I never get tired of hearing Josh Rouse. Never.
Old school Josh Rouse makes me smile. Lots of memories of this song.
...I like the horns...

Yep.
Cold Blue Stars is an amazing, amazing album.
Discovered this guy through Nashville-a wonderful country pop LP. And fun retro art cover.
nuts :( i wasn't paying attention! must not have been bad then! i'm going to see him in NYC tomorrow! don't know a lot of his stuff but what i've heard is great.

I still cannot believe there is no Rouse from his finest album on RP, that being Dressed Up Like Nebraska.
