Lyrics:

Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya

Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
If you could blow up the world with the flick of a switch
Would you do it?
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich
Would you do it?
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
If you could watch everybody work while you just lay on your back
Would you do it?
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
If you could take all the love without giving any back
Would you do it?
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
And so we cannot know ourselves or what we'd really do

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

If you could make your own money and then give it to everybody
Would you do it?
No no no no no no no no no
If you knew all the answers and could give it to the masses
Would you do it?
No, no, no, no, no, no, are you crazy?
It's a very dangerous thing to do exactly what you want
Because you cannot know yourself or what you'd really do

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya

Ah (ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya)
Ah (ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya)
Ah (Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya)
Ah (ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya)

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?

Really? Bar none? The worst ever? Are you sure? Worse than the worst disco? Or the worst Paul Anka, Russell Crowe, Hanson??
Yup. The worst. The lowest anyone else can hope for is a tie.

How bad can a song get?
ELO on steroids?
Okay, okay, its no Yoshimi. Its no Soft Bulletin. But hey, it *is* still the Flaming Lips! Check out this month's issue of Paste magazine for a lovely front cover interview with America's best touring band, IMHO.
I wasn't an immediate fan of this song when I first heard it. BUT, it definitely grows on you. It's a damn good song.
That was the worst crap I've ever heard, bar none!!!!!! How in god's name did it make in on RP???
this is just total crap!
are you TRYING to give me a freakin headache?
God, this is HORRIBLE!!! ::shudder:: wow, I havn't heard something that bad in a long time. Thank got its over!
This is pop song.
I was quite late getting into 'The Lips' and Yoshimi was my first purchase, which I liked a lot. I say 'liked' as they've been in decline for me ever since. After playing Yoshimi to death, I saw them live in Cardiff and they now hold the title of "The only band I've ever walked out of a concert for". When I go to see a band live, I don't go to hear the singers rants about the current American administration, or to watch videos of children being shot in the head repeatedly, or see the singer covering himself in fake blood to try and make some sort of point. I go to enjoy their music, which is what I paid my money for. Sadly, they couldn't even provide this service as the guy just could not sing. I've not listened to them since, and this new song... A solid 2. Still, it certainly wasn't a wasted night as the support band, Clinic, were very good.
I heard a very different live version of this one on World Cafe recently ~ The Flaming Lips, a Slow-Growing Phenomenon ~ slowed and stripped down, it sounds oddly similar to Neil Young's song "After The Goldrush"... check it out.

OK, this is the first time I've been compelled to comment on a song...and it just sucks. There is no defense for this song. Maybe if it were a little weirder you could showcase it on Dr. Dimento, but not here. That there's even anyone here who likes these guys is simply amazing to me. Oh well, to each their own ;-)
Pretty annoying to me, a solid 2.
Why has this stopped? The prisoners have told us nothing!
Yeegawds! Quick, put it out of its misery!

Did anyone see them on Austin City Limits? They are insane. People in animal costumes, balloons, all sorts of wierdness. Like some sort of really strange dream. But I have to admit, it looked fun. Then they had the Shins for the second half of the show and they were really boring compared to the FL.
I saw That!!! Cat Power played with them it looked like the greatest show ever. Wyne Coyne had a rubber nun puppet

I caught that. They do put on quite an interesting show! Even if one didn't care for their music, I'm sure no one in the audience could say they were bored!

Based on the numbers above, we outnumber you. Nyahyahyahyah nyahyahyahyah, nyahyahyahyah nyahyahyah!

this song brings to mind something from the Freak Out album 30 + yrs ago !!
Flaming Lips has long been in the running for the #1 slot on my list of "Worst Band EVER." I think this just secured them the top slot, and a spot in the hall of fame for astoundingly bad music.
As much as liked Yoshimii... I cannot stand this. s
PLEASE!!! Make it STOP!!!
great fun from a fun band
I'm actually digging this song, even though I'm not a huge FL fan. I am a sucker for hand-clapping, yeah-yeah songs. Must be from listening to 60s pop for so many years!
The Lips are BACK!
all right , all right ... a lot of cheap shots from the peanut gallery below ;-) it's an easy target for sure but I like it well enough. I did see them do this live on David Letterman and it was very powerful as the gtr's were much louder and the yeah yeahs not so audible at all. with loads of noise and distortion and in all their costumed weirdness it was great

Yeah. Changed my mind. After I started laughing and could not stop. Changed my vote to 6 just for the humor value.
This album will grow on you, realitivly fast. I've not been the biggest Lips fan, but after little Yoshimy I really like them. Now Wizzards is become a favorate in my player. I can't wait for the up coming tour.
Kind of painful, but good- in a Ween-esque way. Got to like the message of the song, even if the singing is abrasive at times. Kudos to a band willing to be experimental & gritty, instead of just fitting into one musical mold.
I like it, but let's not overdo it or I think I might just yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah right into the middle of some moving traffic, if you get my meaning. :P
the song is slowly warming up to me, but as a whole I really am dissappointed with at war with the mystics.
If you could walk up to this band and you could slap them in the face, would you do it? yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeah
This is what happens when you don't give a fuck about the critics and about selling a record!!!
Started off great, but now, with all my power, I'm turning it down
What would I do with all my power? Make sure no one ever makes such a crappy song again.
Well the title is appropriate enough.
gawd, that acapella sounded like me in the shower...

Nanananananananana!!!!
It's so so so so so so good. BUTT-WIGGLE (But, definitely not make-out music. At all.)
