Donne, l'impression d'un petit bon homme
Si tes raisons sont bonnes, come on,
Prends ton temps et le mien,
Car j'y tiens.
T'a rattrapé,
Écouter aussi c'est un don,
Et comprendre Homme

there debut album is my favorite, consistently funky flavours with extra spice, the track corner shop very good

That must be the gal in the white plastic bag on the album cover...
This is a cool song...
Yep, that is definetly her on the cover...
well, I guess every good set has it's end.
I have this song on the Wax Poetic album NuBlu Sessions, which is a favorite of mine.
Proof that singing in a foreign language does not a good song automatically make.

Hey, you've arrived: Summer is here, so, howz this kinda music now?
Yeah, kick-ass bass. The ending is too drawn-out, though.
This song is going to be #1 when I finally make my mix of "Songs that made you buy an album that isn't actually very good"
Love this song, rest of the album sucks.

Can't believe the average rating is only 5.7 I guess there are some cold frogs voting out there that badly need defrosting.
Agree - glad my rating could help 'up' it a bit...c'mon people!
Must be the accent and voice, guess I'm a sucker, I like it (and yes to matt below, the cover does scream bargin bin)
Loving it, sending it to "Respect" then "Keep Yourself Alive", can't wait to see where this song pops up next.
yes that bass line in the end would go perfect for a cake song
good observation
The song's okay. But doesn't that album cover just scream "bargain bin"?
-mt-
Their singing about men right?

Apparently they chose their name for the attraction value on advertising fliers and such...

Be careful if you search for pictures of them
Funny thing is that they are supposedly Brazilian, but sing in French.
They're not supposedly Brazilian.
They're from Italy, Argentina, California, and Kansas, and met in NYC.
They sing in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German. No Portuguese. mafe wrote:

Want some real Brazilian Girl? Go listen to Elis Regina. If she is not too "ethnic", check out Daniela Mercury.
The AMG entry for Brazilian Girls wrote:...despite their name, no one in the band is Brazilian. The sexy/quirky/mysterious Brazilian Girls are three men -- Didi Gutman on keyboards and computers, Jesse Murphy on bass, and Aaron Johnston on drums -- and one woman, Sabina Sciubba, the vocalist who often enjoys wearing lacy eye masks on-stage and sings in no less than five different languages.
this song is doing cool things in my speakers!

Love this song, bought the disc as a result, hoping for more similar stuff. The rest is very forgettable.
you've got to be kidding me, this CD rocks! it's in my car as my chill out drive home licks, and i get home just to sit in my car and groove out to it.

Ummm. Ummm. Ummm.
Crazy...I have this song on Wax Poetic's album "The Nublu Sessions"...same singer, the music is just a little different! That's an awesome album, by the way.
?????
First listen isn't doing a THING for me...But I'm intrigued by the album cover.
I'm ready for another song that makes me happy. We're in a weird loop right now...
I agree with jamc and Rolf. And if I had wanted to be put to sleep, I would have asked for it. This last set has not been overcome by several cups of coffee, so I really must leave now for something more matitudinal.
This song never ends! Awful!
Everytime this band comes on, I think of that blonde joke with the punchline, "How many is a Brazilian?"

SEXY!
OK, this is just cool. Makes me want to *gasp* become bilingual.
I don't need that song. I hope Bill will play it not so frequently.
One of the slightly more "normal" tracks on this cd. This bunch is just a little bit weird...not as weird as, say, The Residents, but strange, in their own world.
Wax Poetic does a remix of this song on there album "Nu Blu Sessions".If you like this version, you would probably like the remix as well.
