Disgusting. Latin music really sucks.

I remembered Kerouac writing about listening to mambo down in Mexico, and indeed it was Pérez Prado.
This kinda mix is why I stay with RP

Hang on a moment here. Andres is a Spanish name. His profile says he's from Argentina.
I suspect his comment was subtle (perhaps too subtle) ironic humour....
mambo. samba. tango. bossa nova.
when will it all end...for crying out loud.

TOTALLY COOL!! Thanx RP!
And all I can hear in my head is:
A little bit of Monica in my life.
A little bit of Erica by my side.
A little bit of Rita's what I see.
A little bit of Tina's what I need.
A little bit of Sandra in the sun.
A little bit of Mary all night long.
A little bit of Jessica, here I am.
A little bit of you makes me your man.
At the risk of being called "racist" this music never moved me. I never understood the allure of Buena Vista Social Club, but hearing music out of your comfort zone is part of Radio Paradise brilliance. You can always skip ahead, at least you know what you don't like now.

Maybe just leave the sabres out of it. Your coworkers would probably be cool with it then.

In molecular biology, CD4 (cluster of differentiation 4) is a glycoprotein found on the surface of immune cells such as T helper cells, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It was discovered in the late 1970s and was originally known as leu-3 and T4 (after the OKT4 monoclonal antibody that reacted with it) before being named CD4 in 1984. In humans, the CD4 protein is encoded by the CD4 gene.
Not so much fun now.
You're right, it used to be quadraphonic sound from a record, now it's all about macrophages.

Had this in CD-4 format back in the 70's. Who knows what the hell that is today?

I heard a guy growling like that in the stall next to me yesterday. Scared the hell out of me. But I don't think he had the mariachi band in there...I hope not anyway.

The cowbell is making me nuts (but making me laugh at the same time). I might need a padded cell real soon if this continues.

Haha. Rockin. 5 for the music and another 5 for the cover.

How can you hate this? This makes me want to get up and dance and I hate to dance.
And my 12 and 14 year-old kids also concede that while they wouldn't play this with their friends around that it does kick some musical ass.

Mamba with your mambo?
Kirsty, Nick, David, Ry, I love you all dearly. But this is the real deal!
Mango with your mambo?
No disrespect to Senor Prado, but this set today is leaving a bit to be desired. Might be the mood I'm in, but for one of the few times the past few years, I'm tuning out for awhile.............be back soon........
haha, it's the mambo banana's set! Go go Señors y Señoritas!
Sr. Prado is truly an icon and along with that gal with all the bananas on her head .. well, awesome when seen on a black and white TV set with a 6 inch screen and rabbit ears right after the Howdy Doody Show.
Cheers,
Dave
PS Now you know where these dancing bananas come from!
