Climbing up the same walls
been climbing up for years
but its not the way it looks love
its not how it appears
don't ever darken my door
don't ever show your face
its a faithless revelation
to put you in your place
oh you'll never know
how this feels.
this is music to my ears yea
long time coming...
one more day in your arms
seems half a world away
all those precious moments
will haunt me to the grave
oh you'll never know how this feels
this is music to my ears yea
long time coming..
its been a long time coming..
long time coming
its been a long time coming..
don't go...
don't go...
don't go....

That just rolls along beautifully. Very listenable.
Listening in the background, then stopped to see who this was, then turned it up. Nice groove and vocals.
Thanks, RP for the string of good music, I had never heard before. Terrific stuff.
Stereophonics?

Was also hearing that influence. Just saw him play with Fleetwood Mac. I liked him before but was blown away by his talent! Sorry Lindsey, you were not missed... kcar wrote:

Thank you! I couldn't figure out what this reminded me of... Figured if I looked at the band I would know the song because it must be the same band. That didn't work so I knew one of you genius's out there would have the answer:)Rating this a 6....no, 7......no, 8.
Definitely hearing Crowded House, at least some sort of Finn production. Me likey!
This could be my Song of the Day.
Why Plagiolirion is also called Eucaris horsmannii?
In was hearing Neil Finn ... and that's a compliment in my book.

Some music just reminds you of other music. Very reminiscent of Soul Asylum to me.
nice!
Music to my ears... Indeed! I hear many parallels in this one; resonance is one trippy function of sound & wavelength that I always dig!
Love this song!
Does it for me. Purchase time.
edit: great album, to my ears. Sorry they are no more. This is what Travis wish they could sound like.

Great album, but they are no more due in part to tragedy.
Emm, nice sound, were they been all my life ?

Hey ..... I am Montana born and bred (5th generation) and I have absolutely NO problem with the term cowboyland.
But, if Montana is no longer cowboyland, where can it be found? That would be nowhere, though the myth is difficult to surrender.

Um, where, exactly, is "Cowboyland"? I bet you've never ridden a horse in your life. I bet you've never been to a rodeo. I bet you've never worked on a ranch, herding and branding cows. I bet you have no idea what barrel-racing is. I bet the smell of burning cow-flesh would make you pass out.

Seems horses are still 'en vogue' in cowboyland!

Aw, I got excited. From the beginning of this song I thought it was "Waiting" from the 6 Feet Under soundtrack.

Probably depends on the person mixing it? I know what you mean, though - that tight, simple sound that three or four people can make, and it becomes bigger than life? I love that! Still love some rich backgrounds, tho : )
I truely want to like this more but it seems there's a trend for a lot of bands to have way too much going on in the background so the vocals are struggling to be understood, too many layers, just cause they can, anyone agree?

I saw Rubyhorse once when they opened for Jump, Little Children. I have to say, they sounded lot better live than they sound recorded in studio.

I'm waiting for the Devlins
mmmm, nice
Nice.
I can dig this. Very soulful.
Reminds me a whole lot about "Waiting" by the Devlins. Same mood and tempo. Quite likeable, indeed.
Enjoying all the music this afternoon Bill - Top stuff!!
I really enjoyed it, gots to find me some more of them.
Thanks!
I like how they've incorporated strings; especially the cello towards the end.
I thought that this was Soul Asylum at first... vocalist sounded a bit like Dave Pirner to me and that is not a bad thing.

For some reason, the opening reminds me of a slowed-down opening to Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing." Anybody care for that one?
