It takes me back to Morro Bay , it feels just like the golden hills along the coast and there is no wind just unnoticeable breeze, oh Lord it's gorgeos , this is just so well balanced sound , polite and gentle yet ......
Yes! Morro Bay... The ice-plant succulents among the vines at the edge of the beach, the reflection of the surreal rocks and sky mirrored on the tidal flats, and raw oysters as big as steaks! Mr. Scofield certainly has an elegant touch, and his work with MM&W is great!
Nice reverse Brazilian clave too. Very NOLA vibe. Thanx William

i gave it a 9. might move it up
Reminds me a bit of Kenny Burrell's "Chitlins Con Carne" which William plays from time to time.
I can her that. Both are GREAT TUNES!! Thanx RP!

Love the laid back jazz. More please.

Anybody else getting Rikki Don't Lose that Number?
Which was actually based on Horace Silver's "Song for My Father".
Holy Shite...........just look at the people who sought out this guy to play with them!

Yeah MM&W are great on their own and are great backing up Scofield. A go-go is a great album if you like this track. More good stuff on the rest of the album for sure, some tracks are as mellow and some have more energy .
do you have sex together?
Saw him with überjam in Edinburgh and on his own at Queenshall. Blinking brilliant.
No. Not all. But the comment makes me want to listen more carefully.
Air conditioning is a wonderful thing.
