This is not that great, but nice to see Marillion on RP.  But come on Bill, Marillion had so many great songs in the FISH era, why won't you let a single Fish Marillion song onto RP?

For me "Cannibal surf Babe" is the worst Marillion Track ever. Its from a great Album called "Afraid of sunlight".You should know "Out of this world"-"Beautiful"-"Afraid of sunlight"-"King"-"Gazpacho"—"Afraid of sunrise", or should I say , all the other Tracks of this CD. I try to do an Upload. Of course, Marillion changed after the split from the great "FISH" . But they are still a special Band with good outputs.

No, this is the Marillion without Fish. Big difference. Cavedragon wrote:
So, more Fish-era Marillion would be nice- "Sugar Mice", "Warm Wet Cricles", "He Knows You Know", "Market Square Heroes", etc.
Just uploaded Blind Curve from Misplaced Childhood, let's hope it will get through :)
BItchin'!

Yes it is. I saw that tour in '86 in Buffalo.

Interesting you should say considering the following.
Source AMG In 1998, the band returned to the studio to record their tenth album, Radiation. Again changing styles, the effort showed the influences of the Beatles and Radiohead, specifically OK Computer. Marillion.com followed in 1999.
Probably the best "post-Fish" Marillion song. I can see why he left/they kicked him out. His drinking may have been a problem, but it sounds like the band was going one way artistically, and he was pretty much staying the same. Seems to me the sum was greater than the whole. So, more Fish-era Marillion would be nice- "Sugar Mice", "Warm Wet Cricles", "He Knows You Know", "Market Square Heroes", etc. And Zappa comes on as I type this... redeeming a Monday before 5pm!

Finally, Marillion on Radio Paradise! Whoopee! They have a new CD "Marbles" coming soon; I'll be sure to upload a few once I receive... Suzanne
Wow.....this song is pretty good. I've heard of Marillion but have not HEARD much Marillion. I thought they were more of a prog rock outfit but this sounds more like pop space music.
Marillion!?!! Holy $$%$*^#!!! Only on RP. I had no idea they were still around. I actually named our dog "Kayleigh"
WOW, that was Marillion? I have all of the Fish-era Marillion CDs, and what a great surprise to hear them writing such great music still!
