Every time I see or hear a BMG reference, I miss "Arrested Development" a little more.
Man do I hate these pretentious Smurf Mimes!!! No more please!!!
Their show is so much fun to experience. Part rock concert, part Vaudeville show.
I saw them in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. I did not know what to expect. They are a very creative and fun experience. It was as much a very satirical and clever theatre performance as a musical show. Hard to classify, really, but very good.
I dig this!
Saw them in NY a couple weeks ago. Very fun, innovative, and truly creative show, made moreso by being in their own tiny and not at all fancy theater. Nothing against Vegas, but they were maybe more accesible in NY.

They are now at the Venetian with an even bigger show.
I saw them at the Venetian. Awesome show!! It was wonderfully funny and excellent with eclectic music and instruments all at the same time. I was so caught up by it that I succumbed to the marketing stuff and bought a couple of albums including one with this tune on it. Love to crank it up in the car.

The worst blow to decent TV was the loss of that show -- back to drooling to WWE and slugging back coors and corn chips.

Oh yeah, saw them a few years ago at the Luxor, sort of on a whim and first time I ever heard of them, but the show was awesome. I'm told on a much bigger scale than their NYC shows but still good nonetheless.
I heard their Vegas show is really good.
It's got a Power Station thing going.
Man, this is soooo 2000. *wink*

Sorry! Having re-read that comment, yeah, it's kinda stoopid. I think I'll blame it on late nigth programming and lack of sleep.
2nd BMG song I've heard today. Also the 2nd BMG song I've heard this year.

Are these the guys that did the Intel commercials for so long a while ago? Regardless, interesting music.
Yup!

They definately kepp it kind of low key. I just bnought this CD, and that seems to be a theme throughout. Remember though that the CD is a studio redording, and that may be why it lacks the raw energy that you may expect from a live performance. great music anyway, in my opinion.
I think with any live show the electricity of the crowd brings out a certain quality that can not be recreated while just listening to the song. That said, the quality of music that can be produced on a sound stage is so much more crisp and clear that I enjoy more songs from sound stage than a live performance. That said, I saw the Tibetan Buddhist Monks from Drepung perform at Grady Gammage in Phoenix. During one of the prayer songs you can literally see the energy in the room grow. I was a tingle the whole song. There is no way a CD recording of that song could reproduce the effect of that song. Kodo is another group where the vibrations from the drums just have to be felt in person. As for BMG, I like it.

no...sorry....not even half as good as Kraftwerk

Does this recording feature Tobias FÃŒnke or George Sr?

Seems like these guys could be so good but they sound way too restrained. Almost like they don't want to offend the sensibilities of the Vegas show crowd. Go nuts already. They would be more interesting if they had the energy of the junk player from Skeleton Key (just one example). 3 from me.

Contrived in the worst possible way. Even worse than the manufactured boy bands and * Simpsons of this world.
Man, I want to play drums!!

Sheesh...can't help it. I like this. Maybe because I think about the live show -- who knows? But I like it.

great tune, love the way it builds!!
So true...if you've ever seen a show...it's even that much better when listening on RP.

Yup. They are becoming unmistakable! Knew before I looked. Good stuff! Hope to catch their show sometime, soon. Do you bring a rainsuit, or what?
Only if you're in the first few rows. We were about six rows back, just out of the paint-splash zone
great tune, love the way it builds!!

Just saw the Vegas show a couple of weeks ago. It's very cool, in a sensory-overload kind of way. A little pricey, though.
THOSE LITTLE BLUE HEADS TAKE AWAY FROM THE MUSIC...

I just tuned in and heard only part of it. I'd like to hear it again.
I'd crank this up right now but I'd disturb my co-workers.
