Well, good for you! I like this. EXCELLENT TUNE!! PS: Othmar Is great. Thanx RP!
I thought it was Othmar Liebert. Othmar got me started on Flamenco. I listen to " REAL " Flamenco now 🤪

We retired to the Pacific coast of Mexico almost 3 years ago.
It's nice to hear some Willie and Lobo.

will take all of the above rather than squeal young.....
not sure what's worse, the cheesy beat, the schmaltzy piano segue, or the lowest-common-denominator melody/harmony.

Would have been boring either way. Actually I vastly prefer this.
I kept waiting for this song to morph into the Eagle's live Hotel California. Then it just got boring.

They played this on their penultimate farewell tour. Liking it still.

"My mama said to get things done, you'd better not mess with Major Tom" to a salsa beat. ;-)

Yup, we made a special trip down there to see them at a special New Year's Eve performance they do every year on a restaurant patio. That's after we first saw them at the Palms Playhouse in Winters, CA. They're wonderful musicians and a great couple of guys.
By the way, their entire catalog is excellent.

Just saw Wille & the Wolf down in Puerto Vallarta. The music sceen is growing down there. I've been going regularly for 20 years. If you get the chance to go - do it.

Having just watched The Big Lebowski I thought this was going to be a version of "Hotel California".
Nice elevator music.
Not a huge fan of the synthesized backup. Ho Hum.

W & L are now on my (ever-growing)list of CD's to check out.

Agreed. Problem is the amount of money it is going to require to purchase every CD on my list because of this place :)

Seconded
The opening made me think of the Gypsy King's cover of 'Hotel California.' (haven't checked, is that uploaded?)
Cool tune, I like.

Crap or not crap....hmmmm...It\'s got htat \"world music\" (wtf?) feel, which is kinda cool I guess, but at the same time, its a little predictable in that \"world music\" sense. Not sure if I like it. Have to listen to it a few more times. I guess that means it\'s not that bad. There again, I live in Miami, so I hear latin style stuff all the time. Literally. And how do you people drink in the heat?!?!

The violinist sounds alot like Jean-Luc Ponty. Any connection?

Hell, even the stuff I don't like "belongs" here.
That's what makes RP such a cool place to hang.
Very nice... Not as good as \"Tribute To Manolo\" though. That one is VERY special.
Nice and soothing...Perfect! :D
Lovely south-of-the-border flavor, but with lots more variety inside the song than I would ever expect. Putting this on my \"to buy\" list.
:p
me gusto mucho!

I agree. Unless you like listening to the same 5 tunes over and over, RP has the best variety of the best music around. And unless you are listening to RP 24-7 (I don't have time to), there aren't that many repeats. And there is always something that I've heard nowhere else.
