This guy's voice makes me feel pseudo-homicidal. Absolutely terrible.
Ooh. One reason to leave RP for a while...
Im getting tired of the really cheasy american coun try rock this station plays alot of :/
Its normaly a really good station from playing loads of styles from other places. Or at least used to but latly iv been hearing alot of really bad country rock.
Please PLEASE more stuff from around the world...
YES, another country song... way to go RP. Nice to hear some of this occasionally. Your mix choice this morning is ... ace.
Fred is the man. This guy writes excellent edgy songs in a genre I don't frequent very often. He was around here (Southern Ontario) for years without a label nibble, went to Nashville and was signed up in no time, so the story goes. Fred's the real deal. AND you've reminded me that he's playing around the corner tonight. Thanks once again RP.
Slam in Toronto
Bill, you have outdone yourself. Fred! I am delighted and in awe.
Please, please, please, keep up the great work. This has motivated me to get off my lazy butt and send you in another cheque - I'm overdue!

Fred, who lives not far from me here in eastern Ontario, played his best stuff early in his career.
My brother-in-law Max also believed this, and told Fred so in a letter. Fred wrote a long missive back to Max telling him to go straight to hell and using more four-letter words than Max thought possible. So Fred has edge--personal as well as professional--it seems. I wonder if the letter has value. Are you listening EBay?
LOL - a letter is written criticizing a person, and you're surprised by the response?
Fred is an excellent songwriter, and this is a very good album. I was lucky enough to see him in a small, grimy venue in my town better known for local hard core acts. He was the opening act for a popular regional act called "Split Lip Rayfield". Fred and his band gave a great show, even though there were only a handful of people in the audience, and of those only maybe 3 or 4 who were familiar with Fred. He gave a heartfelt show in spite of the conditions. The band was friendly, and freely talked to me before the show. I'd see him again in a heartbeat if he comes back through.
