You're welcome, Ms. Merchant. (The pic of her is simply mesmerizing. Lucky the one who gets to wake up in the morning with her ...)
I would like to start a movement where everyone in the world started singing this song every morning and we might actually see a marked improvement in the quality of life on this planet.
Sorry but Mellow Mix?
Personally a bit intense for me here.

I'm curious fellow mellow mix listeners... if you would please:
👍 for "kinda too much going on to be mellow"
👎 for "this is chill, right at home in mellow mix"
I love her voice and generally all of her music.  I really loved the MTV Unplugged session they did.
I'm watching Saturday Night Live, years ago. Natalie Merchant is singing, maybe this song. Shes wearing a shear turtleneck sweater. Without a bra. As she sings, you can see she is becoming noticeably aroused. Like thick erasers. I was mesmerized.

Huh.  I have that vinyl, but I don't listen to it.  I just look at the cover.

Your right I’ll go 10
Very nice song I’ll go 9
Not only ten! ELEVEN!!! {#Clap}
play..........
Predictably, this song isn't doing well in the ratings, despite it being one of my favorite Natalie Merchant songs.
Every time this song comes on, I think, "Oh, I can sit through it this time." And every time it turns out I'm wrong, and I switch stations. As I'm about to do. I don't hate it as much as some, but I definitely don't like it. And by the way, come on--Ophelia? Hasn't that character pretty much been tapped for all the allegory she could possibly provide?
Definatly a women with a voice and talent. Unfortunatly, from a personal standpoint, I just have not liked the direction she has gone since leaving 10,000 maniacs. The chemistry between the musicians in 10,000 and Natalie was amazing and made for many memorable and enjoyable songs. I will say that out of her solo catalog this is one of the more enjoyable tracks that I have heard.
I like this song and used to play the album over and over, but my other half hates it - so I don't listen to it anymore - Thanks for reminding me how good it is RP! :)
her songs drive me up the wall .. always have and always will ..
please, I'd like to hear often this song.
