I went back through your song comments, fullydude, and every single one of them was almost hatefully negative. Why do you listen to RadioParadise, if you don't hear anything you like? And, if you do hear something you like, why do you not comment on it? I think you might need to save your sanity - go to some top-40 place that plays Brittney Spears or some vapid remake of a 10cc song. Clearly, RP doesn't offer what you want to hear.

Wow... couldn't have said it better myself.  Thanks Cynaera!

After hearing this song live, I just had to buy the CD. John is a great musician and entertainer.
This is one of the worst things I have ever heard.
Yee Haa!!!!! Ry Cooder away! I had two dads....I'm sooooo confused....
tip of the hat to RP - you understand that John Hiatt and Keb Mo are two of the smartest musicians doing the rounds
What the crap is with the guitar?! It sounds awful. Booo
Mr. John Hiatt Best damn songwriter writing today.
I love this line,\"As the two year old says grace She says help the starving children to get well But let my brother\'s hamster burn in hell You love your wife and kids Just like your dad did\". Frednic
Such a great song: made even better by the Rolling Stones riff that\'s tastefully been added.
It\'s a great song, but I\'ve really gotten used to the live version on \"Hiatt Comes Alive at Buddokan\"... --d
This is one of the songs that proves Hiatt\'s genius as a lyricist. Specific and individual details that add up to a universal (and sweet) recognition.
