Really cannot stand this band. The less the better, RP.

I get what you're saying. For me, the plaintive tone in the singer's voice is a reason I like their music.

Absolutely!  Far more interesting than some cookie-cutter, syrupy pop vocalist.

The singer's voice is like nails on a chalkboard for my ears - and I honestly don't mind the sound of nails on a chalkboard. I can't think of another vocalist that elicits the same response in me. It's a strange phenomenon to be instantly put off by a certain timbre or frequency.

Bluto kills the ax

Did you mention Bluto was a drunk  with poor hygiene?  Curious oversight.

Does it have on OFF switch?

Why not go somewhere more to your taste? Then we won't have to listen to your whining.

The album cover looks like one of those pictures that you hold up to your nose and move slowly away from your face. Maybe if you squint just right you'll see a 3-D banjo or something.

I love those Magic Eye pictures and I thought this would certainly be one.

Not seeing anything.

I do enjoy the song, however.
Heard the lead singer on a Dear Sugar podcast on my walk yesterday. Sang solo with his guitar at a live event in Portland where writers gathered in solidarity against our federal political administration.

Bottom line - I was never a fan. But that's changed. This dude can sing.
A little earnest yet boring.
I love these guys! 8

Can be a great band, but this is boring...
great!

Really enjoying your track choices this morning - many of which I've not heard before. Consistently top quality music - who needs Spotify, Deezer and the rest. I haven't got time to listen to them - I'm too busy listening to RADIO PARADISE !!

I agree. Great band!
from godlike Jorma you then play this terrible whiner, yuck psd!
This out-of-tune braying reminds me that it's time to walk down to the barn to check on the cows.

What a sweet song!
New stuff by them? Love this group!
First! Woot!

Also, dig the new Decembrists.
