Actually, this is the first cut on May's Tiny Beautiful Things album.
She is such a great singer... I like how her voice reminds me of Sara Harmer and Tift Merrit. The guitar and piano arrangement are lovely, too...

As a guitar player who is a bit of a gear nerd, I love hearing a guitar part that combines a melodic idea with the perfect pairing of some kind of modulation. It adds a texture to the song that, for me, makes it want to be heard again and again. The outro to this song is no exception. If I were to guess, Theo Katzman is using a Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl chorus/vibrato pedal to get that warm, warbly, lo-fi tone.
