Be my mind
Don't like to think for myself all of the time
And be my soul
Look into these eyes like no one before
Be my light
Sunrise laughing cause we stayed up all night
Be my map
We'll leave with all the treasure we can grab

Be my lake
Summer sand and a strawberry milkshake
And be my pride
Stay under my skin, don't let me take what is not mine
Be my house
Strong and sturdy far from town oh
Be my home
Just think of all the places we'll go

Be my blood
Oh I'd shoot the moon and it wouldn't be enough
And be my books
Head on your shoulders with damn good looks
Be my hands
And I'll paint your picture darling the best I can
Be my heart
I've got you in the end, I wish I had you from the start

Hey!  Cheers fellow traveler...*clink*... pleased to meet ya...
beautiful lyrics.

moving song. love this. never would have heard it were it not for RP.

+10
that is one scratchy guitar
I get the first comment. Some things we feel deserves to be liked more regarding quality, effort, time etc went into it. In case with music first hear can differ from second third etc time listening. I like when a song grows on me over time. And for example in art our feelings opinions could differ every time we see it. I happen to like this one v much. At first hearing I even downloaded it.  unclehud wrote:

Love this type of comment, because I don't understand why anyone would "want to love" a song (or painting or sculpture or movie or car or mobile phone) more than they naturally do.  There's no imperative to enjoy  art (or technology).  If you don't like it, you just, simply, don't.  Doesn't make you less cool.

ME?  I don't really like this, but I don't like this genre of music.   So what?  No big deal.  I'm still WAY cool.

I rarely follow along to the words while listening to a song, but this one really helped my appreciation of this quiet, heartfelt tune. Beautiful lyrics.

Maybe when I hear it a second time.

Loove Caamp.

Get to see them open for the Lumineers tomorrow night at Wrigley Field. Can't wait.
This is a good one to sing to yourself. What a beautiful lullaby.

Pleurage... Ardoise... laissez-moi corriger cela...

Bel enregistrement... vivre hors du sol... semble réel... une vraie chanson d’amour...

Et malgré toute mon écoute RP, je n’ai jamais eu la première note... cela demande un verre de vin... ou six... merci RP et BillG...

This is a great band! My teen age daughters turned me on to them. We saw them at an awesome small theater in Columbus years ago and it was a mind blowing show. I have been requesting them for years and am so happy that they finally made the rotation. More Please!
