Ooh, Beats Antique after Dirt Wire, both David Satori projects! Both great live!
Got to see them perform live at an ACL Fest years ago - exactly the kind of act you need to see live!

Wow, no love for trippy arabian-indian sounds? Well I like it.
Even if it was followed by Kenny Rogers singing Just Dropped In (To see what condition my condition was in). Which I liked as well.

Compelling, exotic & joyful. Hard YES. :-)
Not bad but I prefer T Corp
I like the Oriental vibe.

Glad Beats Antique is getting time here on RP. I need to get the new stuff to keep company with the other albums of theirs I've got.

I listen to RP while coding, I usually don't notice what's playing.
But, some songs make me stop to listen.

I enjoy playing the 'ruler twang on the desk' along with this!

Yeah, the bass line has that syncopated "reggae style" groove going on, similar in phrasing to Marley's "Concrete Jungle" as well in some parts. Pretty cool groove.
The bass melody is almost straight from The Bed's Too Big Without You... which is not a bad thing.
