I know you've been hurt
By someone else
I can tell by the way
You carry yourself

But if you'll let me
Here's what I'll do
I'll take care of you

I, I loved and lost
The same as you
So you see I know
Just what you've been through

And if you'll let me
Here's what I'll do
I just have got to take care of you

You won't ever have to worry
You don't ever have to cry
I'll be there beside you
To dry your weeping eyes

So darlin' tell me
That you'll be true
'Cause there's no doubt in my mind
I know what I want to do

And just as sure
One and one is two
I just got, I got to take care of you
I just got to take care of you
Take care of you

They are one
10 for Beth + 10 for Joe = 20.
Two insanely awesome guitar solos in one song. Love it.

To me she sounds a great deal like Janis.
Wow, just Wow.
Strictly a personal issue, but I don't care for heavy vibrato voices like Beth's. But I recognize her talent, and this is some darn good bluesy stuff otherwise!
WOW!
I am melting......

i like this better with each listen.
I put a spell on you....
Saw him at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre with a killer band and perhaps Ms. Hart.

Dressed like an Original Blues Brother, he owned the joint for two hours!

Bobby Bland, one of the all-time great vocalists ... not on RP but worth checking out ... Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City!

Insanely good voice. Insanely good guitar.
good cover.  I was only familiar with Van Morrison's version but a few others have covered it like BB King, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Etta James
Is it just me or is it hot in here?
Beth's vocal reminds me of Etta James.  And that is a very good thing.
dude can play and she can tear it up as well.

This kicks a back 40's worth of Butt.  Wow.

Ha! Pretty sure this is a compliment... But as a Brit, I have NO idea what the hell it means
This track is a testament to why I like JB's music so much more when someone else is singing.
Mphwoaaa! Yea!

THIS SONG
If you're going to pretend, then pretending WELL is best.
Other pretenders won't know the difference, and you will prosper.
This whole album has some outstanding goose-bumpy tracks, well worth a listen, in particular, Ain't No Way and I'd Rather Go Blind. Superb :)
Oh man, what a guitar player....!
This track just drips with expression from several sources...well done
Beth Hart YOWZAH, what a voice!
Terrific song,give to me girl😭
Today I had to realize that a good old colleague and friend must have been gone. He loved Blues, Rock'n'Roll and all the good stuff of the 60s.  I didn't feel like listening to music all day, so I clicked on my favourite station anyway. And what was playing? Exactly this song! He had introduced me to Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa about a year ago. Take care, dude, and thanks for this sign!

Oh, Beth, you can take care of me. Have mercy!

This is serious, metalfittin', shitkickin', heavy blues. With artists like these on the block, the blues will never die. 9 from the moved Nottingham jury

it's the other way around for me.

Not sure which one of them melted my face just now, but this is a sublime HEATER!
Guess it's the combo that takes this to +100000 Fahrenheit
Shades of Janice there.
Beth and joe are very populair here in Holland and she loves Amsterdam.did Amazon concreets here.search dit beth and Amsterdam with the song ill Heather go blind on yt.goosepocks
Bill, if you like Beth Hart's voice, look up Liz Lannon. Wonderful blues voice, in the mold of Beth Hart; pretty good band. She & her band were (are?) a local, eastern New England blues band, busy in the 90's & aughts. Several CDs available.
First Joe B. song I actually like. Beth Hart makes it even better.
Pure bliss!
These two just go together naturally, like peanut butter and jelly.

Interesting, but isn't that "striving" at the heart of great art? As a born again atheist I don't feel the need to "believe" something from the soul, I just revel in this awesome music.
 I'll rephrase - it doesn't sound genuine...to me.

That is, it seems strived for and not from the soul.

Just when I thought "oh it's over where's the Joe solo?" Kapow! He hits you right between the ears!
These two should do the next Bond movie theme song. Yes I know a new Bond movie comes out next month.
This song truly shows how desperate can we be when loving someone.  Damn good man!

A good song with a Joey Bonamassa guitar solo - a rare and beautiful thing.
The long lost Blues Brother.  With a woman who can belt it out!

No wonder I voted 9.
Bill , why not play the excellent Mark Lanegan version ever?

you still don't know who Bonamassa is.
Having heard this numerous times before, I can say that this is how to make a voice and a guitar ex-plode at different points in the same track.
I had this at an 8 but the sound of her voice today moved it up to a 10 for me.  whew...the woman can sing and I can't get enough Joe Bonamassa.
I was going to give this a 7 until until I heard Joe get going.  8 first listen.

Test comment from RP 7.0.1 build 747.
Mark Lanegan's version is way better. Mark Hoyt (Stumpy Joe) guitar.

Glad they found each other.  What an amazing duo.
8 from me - Beth and Joe are a great combo!  Her voice is almost surreal and his guitar playing sends shivers down my spine. Bliss!

9→10 Today...Great vocal performance AND blistering guitar work!!!  Hell, my wife LOVES it too so I'd even go 10→11 if I could.

Wow! What a cover!!! {#Music}

Beth Hart makes this.... not Joe.
I HATE TO THROW AROUND TERMS LIKE "BEST GUITARIST" BUT DAMN!
On the same CD, what she does with Tom Wait's Chocolate Jesus sounds like pure lust and sin.

No question in my mind; these two make a perfect power couple don't they?  At least when it comes to making music.  In any other area I suspect Beth would hurt Sir Joe. {#Whipit}  She'd probably make the perfect woman for a Viking, even if she's found God.  {#War}
Just changed my rating.  I rarely give a 10 but the combination of the gutsy vocals and Joe's magical guitar....Fan-freakin'-tastic.
Outstanding! Love the live in Amsterdam album!
New to RP. Love it.
Yowza!  Her voice is as perfect for this tune as his guitar.
love Beth!  Awesome couple (the style of this song had me think of Boz Scaggs in a way : )
Great version. Who sings the original?
I know Mark Lanegan has a beautiful version of this song.
EPIC!
Perfect couple!

Fantastic...{#Roflol}
Repeating the comment below, what a supreme start to a bleak UK morning.  Merry Christmas, Mr & Mrs Goldsmith and all the little Goldsmiths from across the Pond.
What a wonderful set this morning.!!Thank you! {#Bananajam}{#Bananajam}
Everyone who knows me knows I am NOT a big blues fan, but this guy makes the guitar speak like no one since Duane Allman. The only problem with this solo is it is about four minutes too short!
Wow!  Every time I hear these 2 players, I get blown away.  They remind me of the blues version of Renee Fleming, because both Joe and Beth are just so intensely good that they are almost too good ... like a super delicious but super rich dessert after a heavy meal.  HD for the ear-bones?
Superb!

What a combination: a genuine soulful voice and a great band! {#Cheers}
Great Disk!
